When will Djokovic next win a slam?

Since winning the 2013 Australian Open Djokovic has been in three finals and not won one, losing twice to Nadal and once to Murray. When do you think he will next win a slam?

Wimbledon 2014 - he is not really a natural grass courter but if Nadal goes out early and Murray and Federer do not bring their grass form then he could win. But, as the worst grass player of the big 4, hiss success here is more determined by the form of others instead of his own form.

US Open 2014 - he has a very good chance, he has been in the final the last 4 years and is very consistent. His main problem has been that he gets outplayed in finals. If he can bring his best form he stands a good chance of winning it.

Australian Open 2015 - this is where he has the best chance of winning a slam and where I believe his slam drought will most likely end. He is the greatest Australian open champion of all time and the surface suits his game perfectly.

AO '15 is probably his best chance. Like you mentioned, his pathetic net game and serve costs him at Wimbledon and at US, he always runs into an obstacle (Murray playing a match of his life, Dull serving like Sampras etc). AO suits his one dimensional grinding game and with some luck (Murray going out early, Nadal struggling with "injuries") he should be able to fluke another slam. I wouldn't count on it though. Djokovic is a pusher and his slam record speaks volumes.

Boy, that is becoming an interesting question. Depends a lot on draw too. Let's say USO 2014. (If not, AO 2015). Not sure if grass is a good surface for him to regain enough confidence.

Djokovic is one of the tennis greats and you speak about him like he is some kind of mug. With this rate he would probably be become 3rd at a Grand Slam finalist only behind Federer and Nadal.

Who knows what is going to happen with him now that he is starting a family.
Many people overlook this factor.

If he's fully concentrated on tennis now and is losing this badly in slams imagine what happens when he becomes a dad and is not fully focused on tennis.

Everybody says that a family will not affect his/her life greatly but the reality is far different.

Examples? Who had a family being at the top of his game except Federer. He had a perfect 2009, 2010 title,2011 final and in 2012 he became number 1 at 31 years of age. Its not like Djokovic would leave his child at some monastety while he plays on the tour, he would have thousand of nannies, family members and a privet jet in his pocket.

Sad thing is if novak doesnt win french open.. it may destroy his life... its cruel really , he has tried well and played well too... one can easily say he is 2 nd best aftr rafa on clay ... Novak is an amazing guy on tour... tennis needs him... If this destroys him mentally i dont think he will come back... Last 3 slam finals he didnt even go the distance ..
He is falling apart mentally...
Btw both guys were physically sick yestrday but still fought somehow an finished match .. novak vomitted on court .. greats guys...

He's made 13 finals so far, has a WAYS to go before reach 18(Sampras) or 19(Lendl).

It's no joke for him to reach 5-6 more finals.

Djokovic has a shot at being considered in roughly Lendl's league, which is impressive.

The more I wonder, the more it seems likely that Djokovic will win one or both of the next two hard court Majors, to justify his great form over the last years and his status as one of the best players on hard courts ever.

Have to see it to believe it though, such have been the extent of his failings to climb over those last and largest hurdles in recent times.
