When you click 'New Posts'...

... is there a way that you can stop new posts from a specific forum coming up? For example, I'm not that interested in 'Former Pro Player Talk', 'Shoes and Apparel', 'Strings and Stringing' etc and don't really want them to come up on the search. Is it possible to 'block' new posts from these forums appearing in the 'New Posts' search?

I've done a search on this topic and can't find an answer and would be grateful for a firm response on this one.

I can't speak to whether it's worth the trouble, but ls1gto.com uses vBulletin 3.6.8 as well, and has options under "New Posts" to limit the search.
Personally, I don't mind sifting through posts from all sub-forums, but I'd bet a lot of people would enjoy seeing new posts in all forums EXCEPT the Match Results Discussion.

Yes, I've come across a couple of forums using this version that have the option to limit what comes up under new posts. It would be handy to have on here but probably too much like hard work... Thanks for the responses.

I don't want to give you guys more work but I do think it would be a great addition to the forum!

TW webmasters would probably have to get the mod if it exists from vbulletin or a mods site.

If one exists and it installs fine, they'd have to ensure that the mod is updated when vbulletin is upgraded.

Depending on the mod, sometimes it's easy, other times it's a pain ... speaking from experience.
