Where are the CLASH copies from the other brands?

Hi

Do any of the other brands have plans to release racquets with their copy of the clash free flex technology?

There are multiple brands and racquets that are softer and have way better feel than the clash but is there anything out there that has the combo of arm health and power?

Why? The clash is a lousy racquet.

Because I want the feel of the low RA racquets that I love (Phantom 100, Wilson Burn Team, Diablo MP) but get the power and finishing ability of high RA racquets (Pure Drive) and play full or hybrid poly without the adverse affects of high RA with poly.

Then get a Clash 98. The Clash generally comes with some inherent control issues due to that technology so it's not a perfect tech. But for intermediate rec players it does what they need.

Yeah possibly.

Current racket is Textreme Tour 290 with Velocity MLT (316g/6HL/317sw) but the spin is not enough to dip the ball down into the court

Another option is install Ytex Quadro Twist mains with Velocity MLT crosses in the Textreme Tour 290....

Try the Dunlop SX 300 Tour

-clash v2 coming soon (2022)
-hopefully with some tweaks to the pattern (18/20, 16/20) control issues would be much better, IMO
-i mentioned this to the w.rep, his eyes lid-up
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-maybe i hit on something before i was meant to !?!?

Try the new Yonex Vcore Pro 97D. Checkmarks for all of the above requirements (y)

I see many a Clash player hit the back fence with their groundstrokes. If I was struggling to get the ball to dip into the court I'd look at my technique rather than my equipment.

If you like the free flex just get a clash, there won't be anything like it. Lot of softer more powerful rackets coming out but you won't find the same playability.

Try the Blade 104v7, or 100v7 if you want slightly more feel while still being soft and powerful.

Prince Ripstick would be another option. The ports reduce the harshness of the RA and make the racket feel soft for a power tweener

I have a Prince Beast 100 O3 which may be similar. Strung it with Ghostwire 19g full bed - while rallying for fun it felt awesome with great spin BUT launch angle and power made it unplayable under pressure...

Maybe I should revisit this Beast 100 O3 with some new strings. Quadro Twist 16L crossed with OGSM 16G at 52-54 lbs. Any thoughts?

You will encounter the same problems with the Clash and every other power tweener in the world. If you want to get the launch angles down, don't play with thin gauge poly. Between ball grab and snap back, that ball will come off high every time.

Put in a thicker gauge non shaped poly with a syn gut cross in mid ranges and see the power and launch angle drop.

Makes sense. I strung up my wife's Pure Drive 2018 with Velocity MLT and that had reasonable launch angle. But that doesn't have much spin or grab.

But extra ball grab of a shaped poly and extra snap back would mean I would have to probably change my swing a little and and face angle (downwards) at contact to re-adjust which I was able to do subconsciously when rallying but under pressure patterns would leave the face too open and send the ball out....

String at low tensions, using round soft polys.
40 lbs or less.
That will make stiff frames feel clash-like.

I agree! Cheaper to do a few string changes to get a more manageable feel from a racquet currently in-use. Even if that means trying a a full gut setup.

That is assuming if someone is looking into the Clash, then they aren't big string breakers.

It also may be worth traveling back in time to when racquets were generally more arm-friendly overall.
