ok these three players (gasquet, safin and paradorn) have had some great matches against fed so where do u think they would be if:

gasquet played like he did at monte carlo against federer in 2005.

safin when he played in the SF at the AO in 2005 against fed.

paradorn when he played against fed at basel last year.

I am sorry for trying to be a smart a*** but;

If Safin could play like he did in Australian Semi-Final and serve, in almost a 4 and a half hour match with only ONE double fault, he can beat alot of players. Granted that performance was brought out by the guy he was playing. With Safin it is between his ears and motivation.

Gasquet is still young, still has some mental and physical issues to deal with, he clearly has the talent and could be in the top 10.

Paradorn Srichaphan on the other hand has a one demensional game and his game is suited for the faster surfaces and would struggle on the clay courts, but he would still be here is is at #77
