Except that he is not running around with a sore foot for up to 5 hours. What he is doing is all part of his recovery to slowly try and use the foot leading a normal life whilst it's healing before he starts loading it with strenuous activities. I had a minor knee operation once and from the moment I came out of the operating room the surgeon told me to carry on walking as usual even though the incision was still raw.
