where to buy tretorn micro-x pressureless balls

man! I am trying to find the places (local stores and online) to buy these Tretorn Micro-X pressureless balls (90 balls) but i can't find them any where easily. I have been researching since two weeks on what balls should I buy for my new ball machine and decided on this Tretorn Micro-X because of the durability and feel of the ball while hitting them (should be close to regular pressured balls) but its not so easy to find them in local stores or online easily.
Can anyone help me where I can find these balls. If you already have bought them can you share some info.
1) Which Brand?
2) Did u find in Local Store?
3) Online? any URL or links?
4) Actual price?
5) Shipping Cost?
6) were you Taxed?
7) which state you shipped them to?
8 ) any bad experiences?

I will appreciate your feedback. Thank you in advance.
 
I bought mine from the big auction site about 100 bucks for 60 balls. Just as some one said, the tretorn microx balls bounce higher as they age. I mix them up with the Gamma and they bounce higher. They feel a little lighter than the Gamma pressureless balls, but no where close to new pressurized balls. From my experience, Tretorn Microx is the best among Gamma, Wilson and ProTrainer pressureless balls that I used.
 
I went through the same thing you did. Decided on the Tretorn Micro-X, had a hard time finding them on-line, but found and bought mine at the same place you did (NRC).

You'll make the right choice selecting this brand of balls for your ball machine. They're the best pressureless balls you will find. The only thing is that these balls are a little harder than the normal balls. So be careful and don't overuse your arm on the ball machine with these balls or you may get tennis elbow.

Hi Ronaldo, did u mean shipping included? If not then how much do you charge for shipping to Bay Area, California? Do you accept pay pal payments or cash?
I spent $79 on friday night's dinner, instead i should have watched the TV and saved that for my tennis balls :-)

No, when I placed my order over the phone, I was asked if I was a Teaching Pro - but when I said, "No, just a consumer," that is when he told me about this special :)...
 
Special Pricing is over

I just got the store info from Ronaldo. It was at www.RMSBoulder.com. The special on the tretorn micro x balls was for March 2008 only. I called a day late. They have a specials page that you can check on their website. They said they can only do specials when the manufacturer (Tretorn) allows them to.

Sorry about that everyone - I wasn't aware that it expired. I clearly lucked out.
 
Has anyone had any issues with ordering from RMS for the Tretorn Micro-X balls? Their website makes them look a little questionable, but unfortunately TW doesn't sell micro-x balls. :-(

You can get the Tretorn Micro-X from Tennis Warehouse.
 
RMS Update...

Hello,

First of all I'd like to thank everyone here for helping me make an informed decision on which balls to get for my new ball machine.

I made a little bit of research on Tretorn balls.

Seems these balls are manufactured in Sweden, or at least the company that makes them is based in Sweden. Tretorn is now a subsidiary of Puma.

I emailed the company and asked them if there were any retailers in Canada of Tretorn balls.

Their answer was to call Rocky Mountain Sports in Colorado, as they are the "official retailer of Micro-X balls".

I called RMS, and spoke to Matt. Very friendly. He told me that the deal on first time customers is still on, but that it's not advertised. So, you buy one bucket and you get one free.

Therefore, I'm waiting for two 90-ball buckets of Micro-X's, costing me, with shipping (to a US address), about $122.

Just thought I'd inform the TT community.
 
Hi again,

Seems that a LOT of people called RMS for their 2 for 1 deal on the Tretorns since my last post.

Looks like it's not available anymore... just for tennis pros from now on, or something like that.
