Ranked outside the Top 500 just a few weeks ago, Murray has clawed his way back, and will be ranked #127 on Monday

Where will he be ranked by the end of the 2020 ATP season?

EDIT: 2-4 should be 2-5
I don't think he will overplay, and he might only play in limited tourneys. But I do think he will have a few good runs, especially at slams.

I would put him somewhere in the top 20? Maybe will break the top 10 early on with a good AO and IW. But see him finishing outside top 10 due to not playing often.

I would estimate between top 20 and top 50. He's playing well enough to firmly plant himself in the top 50 in my view but i don't think his schedule is going to be too demanding and it's yet to be seen if he can survive a deep run into a 5 set tournament.

Top 20.

I smell #15 YE finish.

His schedule won't be too heavy which will limit his point totals. I don't think he'll get many points from the Slams. So you gotta look at 250 & 500 tournaments.

i don't doubt Murray's awesome talent, but I wonder if he can sustain a high enough level to beat anyone day after day for weeks in the toughest stretches of the season, especially since it's obvious that his contemporaries, with all their original parts, can't anymore. I assume Murray would have to skip clay, and many masters tournaments, which would put his ranking somewhere in the teens at best.

Talking of British players, I just noticed that Kyle Edmund is down to #75 in the rankings, after his points from last year's Antwerp fell off the rankings, and has lost his last seven matches.

If Murray can get back into the top 10 surely this is one of the greatest Tennis comebacks of all time?
Agassi played two challengers and dropped to 141 in the rankings in 1997. That's usually considered the greatest comebacks since he became #1 again eventually. But Andy was in the 400's! He still has to move up quite a bit and win slams again to challenge Andre as having had the greatest tennis comeback. Remember too that Chang broke his hip but came back to be top 10 as well.

James Blake has to be up there too. Dropped to #210 in 2005 after breaking his neck before rising to year-end #4 in 2006.

Serious prediction? Top 25.

According to TTW though, it doesn't matter because Blake is a weak era mug.

Looks like most people have him at about Top 20

I think he's too good to not get at least into the Top 10, but we'll see...

Don't know but at his current ranking he is nightmare draw early in a tournament, for the rest of the field.

Like the majority of the posters I chose 11-20.

He is back at a very good level but I'm still not sure he can get his former level (Grand Slam winner, top-4) back. Tennistically even at his best he is still < to Djokovic Nadal and Federer IMO, but I think it will be hard to be better than Medvedev Thiem Zverev and co too... Top-20 (or maybe even 9 or 10) he can be without a problem for me. He beat Wawrinka who is 17 and Berretini who is 12... almost beat Fognini who was 12. He lost to a very good Thiem in Beijing. And he can only get better in 2020 so he can definitely get back to the top-20. Top-10 might be too much to ask but who knows...

The best guide might be Tommy Haas who got to #11 from memory when coming back from a long injury layoff at a similar age to Murray. Murray's the better credentialed player so a top 10 spot is likely if he remains injury free. I voted 6-10.

Add me to the top 10 bandwagon. That's what I hope for anyway. Don't really want to say anything. Nah, I don't suddenly believe in Leon or Bubba Jinx. It's just maybe too hopeful when I consider things like schedule.

Fed was #17 when he came back, Novak never dropped that low in the rankings either. Agassi has to be considered the greatest tennis comeback since he was ranked 141 and played challengers (as did Murray). Then Andre returned and won multiple slams.
You're probably right Beatles, but fed and djokovic looked done and dusted in December 2017 & June 2018 to be honest.
Unless Murray wins a slam again, I will honestly hesitate putting him into line of comebacks with Fed or Djo, let alone leave the greatest comebacker Agassi.
