The title says it all, which T-Fight should I try? I usually like a heavier racket, but hearing great things about the 305!
How does the 315 feel compared to the Pro Staff 90 and RF97? I'm looking for a new racquet that gives me all the feel, spin variety, and forehand racquet head speed and confidence of the PS90 combined with some of the confidence on the backhand and plowthrough of the RF97. I know I can't get all of these things, particularly feel related, but I'm really interested in knowing how the 315 stacks up by comparison. If you play flat and like the control, 305s is your frame (add a leather and 1 - 2 grams at 12 and you'll have an amazing pro stock frame). If you want to have more spin / higher launch angle on your shots, go with the 315 or 300s. Since you like heavier frames, I would then test the 315 first. I can't give any advice on the 100 in^2 versions as I haven't tried them and I won't because I'm a OHBHer.
The PS90s (excluding the 2014 version) and the RF97 were amazing frames. I understand very well what you are missing. I wish Wilson would have released an RF97 at 320 instead of a quasi EZone-replica... Unfortunately, the T-Fight 315 is another animal: the beam is much thicker and the weight distribution is different to any RF frames. Also the string spacing is different. I would just go with a PS97 and customize it to your specs. How does the 315 feel compared to the Pro Staff 90 and RF97? Can you go into some of the details on how differently the 315 plays? I was thinking with a leather grip + overgrip and 2-3 grams of lead at 12 o clock it would get close to my preferred playing spec of 8-9 HL and 330-335 SW. There's no question it would be quite a bit lighter than my nearly 13 ounce racquets, but the added weight should take it pretty close to 12 ounces. As far as how it plays, I have no point of comparison other than there was one review on the ISO 315 from a guy who used to play with the PS90 and he said the ISO 315 gave him similar performance albeit with less connected feel. The PS90s (excluding the 2014 version) and the RF97 were amazing frames. The 315 plays very fast and light. You don't notice the mass.although perhaps the 315 is on the heavier side
