Which Asics Shoe is similar/upgrade to the Prince T22?

Started playing again in 2020 and I have finally torn through my T22. I hear tons of good reviews and see lots of people using Asics tennis shoes. Being flat footed, I also use Asics running shoes (Kayano) which I'm very happy with.

I also dug out an old Nike Vapor 9 from the closet which got me through but after finding the T22, the Nike just pales in comparison. Nike is too narrow, not as stable.

So those are my 2 reference points. Would anyone be able to provide some things to consider when looking for the next pair?
What is the difference bt the Gel Resolution 8 and Solution Speed FF 2? Or stick with the T22?

Open to other brand/models as well. Thanks for any input

I have not tried the T22's but I do have flat feet. I switched to the Asics Challenger 12's after Adidas had a brain f@rt and dropped the Barricades. Prefer the Challenger 12's over the Barricades and I'm not having to pay the higher prices for the GR8's or FF2's. So you may want to test out the Challenger 12's or the 13's that just came out if you are like me and prefer to spend your tennis budget on racquets instead of shoes

Thanks for that. I looked up Challenger 12 and it seems to go for $100. I wouldn't mind paying $30 more for newer tech. I know newer is not always better but for $30 and hours of wear it's not a big deal. I also have a brand new Barricade 7.0, I think also known as the adipower Barricade in the closet from 5+ years ago. I tried them on and it feels a bit stiff...or, maybe it's just because it's new? Any info on the Barricade 7?

Sorry, never tried the Barricade 7's. Only tried 2015-2018 Barricades. Yes, definitely try different shoes on before you commit as everybody's feet are different and it's important to get it right to avoid discomfort or injury. I find the Challenger 12's very comfortable and supportive for my feet with very little break-in required.
