Which Babolat coming from nPro Surge X

This is for a friend.

He's one of those guys that plays with whatever his coach puts in his hands. He broke his strings, and played with a friend's racket. He said he played better, but cant explain why, just saying that he liked the new racket better (nPro) for no apparent reason.

His coach gave him three Babolats to try: Babolat Aeropro Cortex, Pure Drive Roddick Plus, and a red one, which I assume is the pure storm tour (as these are all new models). He didn't like the pure storm tour at all, liked the Aeropro Cortex much better, and didn't get to hit a lot with the Pure Drive.

As the title says, he's coming from an nPro Surge X.

Based on this limited info, I need your input. He's looking for my advice, and I don't really know what to tell him, because he's so unspecific about why one racket is better than the other.

He's a very aggressive power player, Western forehand, two handed backhand, flat first serve, kick second serve. His serve is his biggest asset, it's been clocked in the 120's once.

From that I would suggest the Pure Drive Roddick Plus. But that racquet has more "heft" to it compared to the nSurge X. It is stiffer, it is physically heavier, and has a much higher swing weight. So if he plays with it and likes it the best, then I would suggest warming him that it will most likely be more taxing on him for a little while.

*Disclosure*
I have used the PDR+ for the past few months.
I only hit with the nSurge X for about 15 minutes last year.

I don't know the name, I forget, but I would suggest Nadal's racquet, if that is an option for your friend.

SFrazeur, thanks for the advice, and glad to see your back, I read the thread questioning where you went.

Just a note, he's currently playing the nPro Surge X, not the nPro Open X. He's a strong guy, could be a decent football player, so I think he'll be fine with the weight. Thanks for the advice.

Typo on my part. The nSurge is the one I meant.
Thanks.

A Babolat like the PDR/PDR+ or even the PD/PD+ leaded up would fit him nicely. Another good racquet would be the POG oversize with a good poly.
