Which Babolat do you prefer?

So this is specifically for the ones using Babolat. Interested in knowing if you play with a different racquet depending on how you're feeling or the type of player your facing. If so which racquets do you switch out with? And also how many of each do you have. i.e. PDR+ and a APDC+ OR a PDR and APDC, etc...

I guess it's more of a question of what Babolat racquets are in your bag and if you switch out racquets to play with, what are they? etc...

I have 2 Pure Storm Ltd. and when playing a match, you shouldn't be switching racquets against different players. It is best if you play with 1 type of racquet. Don't really want to type out the long explanation.

I used to play with a PD and I loved the string pattern and the power I was getting out of that racquet. Although it's a bit too stiff for me, I switched off to the N6.1 95 and now I'm hitting with the racquet in my sig.

I've played with Pure Drive, Aeropro Drive, Pure Storm, Pure Storm Tour...see sig for which one I liked the best.

I played with the Aerostorm but now I've started to like the Pure Storm Ltd. and as for switching unless you break a string I wouldn't reccomend it.

Ive tried Pure Drive Standard, Pure Drive Roddick, Pure Control Standard, and Aeropro Drive with and without Cortex.
Check sig for favorite.

Been a Wilson man for a looooong time...picked up an APDC about 6 months ago and now I'm completely sold. As a matter of fact, bought another APDC ( my third ) from a TTW member few days ago. Seriously doubt I'll ever switch to another racquet.

I've been with the Pure Drive Team, PDR, APDC & now am playing with the PD cortex. I have 2 of them and love them- planning to get more- I found its a great platform for customization.

Played with the PDC, APDC, and PS and the PS is my main racquet I love it I jst want to customize it with some lead to make it a bit closer to the weight of the PDC...

I use the PDT+ & PDT I can not tell difference what so ever? Once in a while I sc**** the racquet on the ground off my second serve with the +. Both strung with gamma stinger 16/17 @ 58lbs. These were my first sticks. Since, I have tried LM prestige and FP prestige and neither were even close with control or power. IMO the PD has the power to crush from the BL and the ability to have control with S&V.

why is the aerostrom not getting talked about much. is it good?

Well for me. I used it for a bit. But then tried the Pure Storm Tour. But the PST justs didn't want to be a good fit for me.. I am thinking that the flex was a little more than I wanted. And the balance no matter what I did just felt off..

So I went back to the original AeroStorm 320g frames that I had, and couldn't understand why I left them. The added fact that the 18 guage strings helped alot at a higher tension was another reason. But for me. Just an over all solid racquets.. They call the original the "Tour" now. So I have one 320g original, and two 320g Tours in the bag..

I've used/playtested most of the Babolats out there. My favorite just happens to be the PDC or even the PS Team. Too bad I cant find anymore of those...

Primary frame: PST... best all around Bab frame for me ever
2nd choice: PD+... best b-line and serve Bab IMO

After rentering the sport after a 20yr layoff, I started out with the PD, but as I spent more time playing I needed to "feel" the racket more during my swing, so I've moved to the heavier PDR. That's what I use now. I've experimented with something even a little heavier (Wilson K95) but the PDR is my racket of choice.

So maybe there was a lil confusion on what my question said... I'm not so much into what's in your "bag", but more so do you ever switch b/t different racquets while you're playing. As far as different models. For example, Ross K stated:

Primary frame: PST... best all around Bab frame for me ever
2nd choice: PD+... best b-line and serve Bab IMO

When you said this, were you just speaking generally as far as your opinion or do you ever switch b/t the PST and the PD+?

Lately not at all. I carry my PD+ because generally speaking it's my 2nd best Bab stick (or any stick) at present and, in theory, if I want to go for the massive serve or go more of a b-line game, I could make the switch. Indeed, for a while I did used to switch a fair amount, but TBH, I wouldn't recommend this practice as it wasn't so great for my game. And of course the higher up you go from intermediate level, this doesn't really happen. Anyway, now I've found the PST though, I feel no need to change frames mid-match at all. Rather, I'm much more keenly aware that I have to accumulate as much playing time as possible with my PST and familiarize myself with it so it feels and plays like 'the back of my hand', as they say.

Pure Storm Tour for me - tried a few other Babolat frames but just didn't like the feel of them

Often wonderd if having a second different frame is useful when having an off day, or just a distraction from the real issue of improving technique on those days...

...and if I did have a second frame what would it be? Probably a Speedport Tour or perhaps a Dunlop AG200 16x19 or....and so it goes!

I use the Pure Drive - and love it. I do not switch between racquets to play different types of players. I play my game; the best I can with the racquet that I have. If I am on, my feet are good and my swing is consistent; if I am off, my feet are off and/or my swing is inconsistent. I find it is the mechanics, not the racquet which makes me good in a game or good against a specific opponent.
