2012 of course. Besides being the most epic slam finals of all times, 5 greatly competitive sets always beats few good sets + 1 garbage set...

Firstly, 3rd set of AO 12 final was hardly competitive. djoko won it easily : 6-2.

Fed has tonnes of quality matches come on..
Comparison between 2009 and 2012 is absurd bcoz both r different matches and fed doesnt play Battle of attrition style .

2012 AO match is special bcoz both guys at their Physical peak wanted to Prove it to the World, that their is noone else like them ever fitness wise.
It was like a boxing match / last man standing kinda .
Novak djokovic was maybe the best athlete in Sport during 2011 to early 2012 , not just tennis.

Unlucky for you stats don't back this up, 2009 had way more winners, much faster hit balls. by 2012 Fed and Rafa both declined already.

Nadal was in his Prime in 2012 I didn’t see a huge decline. He played brilliant until his injury break. AO 2012 was higher level wise IMO than all other AOs apart from maybe AO 2009 and before the Wawrinka match. I would rank it below AO 2009 but above AO 2014 for 2nd spot.
