Somebody like Raonic has had his career completely deconstructed by Djokovic, I feel like after Thiem he's really the best out of all these players but he's unfortunate to have a closer overlap with top level Djoker. Great forehand, added a great net game to it, awesome serve, thought he'd really put it together at some point since he seems like an iceman on court ..not that I actually like the look of his game, he just seems like the type of dedicated and ultra focused player that would break through. Anyway I'd say 95-99 hasn't been stigmatized by Djoker and Nadal.

Thiem has made this a comparison in the past year. You look at these numbers a year ago and it's absolutely no contest. The Lost Gen is either the worst or just the most unlucky in the history of the sport. As a group the Next Gen have already pretty comfortably surpassed them for me. I appreciate a lot of that is because they're facing the big 3 at a far more advanced age, switch the two generations around and their fortunes might be reversed, but coulda woulda shoulda, etc.

Raonic “added a great net game”?

Maybe this is just semantics but I would in no way describe his net game as “great”. I would reserve that for great players like Fedal, or specialists like MZverev.

I mean maybe great isn't the best word but I'd say he's that next tier. The last few Wimbledons he played his net play looked superior to anyone outside the very few names you mentioned and who...Dustin Brown in singles. And I'd say he's probably Rafa level at net.

Thiem has really carried the 90-94 gen, without him they're likely gonna end up being the worst gen ever, but if Thiem becomes an ATG then maybe some would dispute that. In terms of talent, depth and even results, the latter half of the 90's gen have already produced superior players despite being "greener" to the profession.
