Which grand slam schedule do you like best?

Why is AO scheduling illogical when at this year's Wimbledon for instance, Federer will have had 2 days rest while Nadal a usual 1 day over the Middle-Sunday period.

Explain to me where this is better than AO staggering the draw evenly spread out.
 
i always thought this was done because of the rainy climate,
so that rainy days would become more equal for all remaining players.
otherwise it could happen that f.i. most of the second day of round 4 was cancelled due to rain. then some players might have to play R4, others QF on the same day.

during the first week would that synchronisation be harder logistically and also less important yet.

just guessing.
There’s two reason it’s done. 1) Tradition
2) to give the grass courts a rest and allow them to recover a bit.
