Which is better : Pro Poly Plasma or Cyberflash (any guage). In the case of a tie just vote for both!. i did not have enough room for for durability and other charteristics. Most Polys are very durable anyway so I don't think that is an issue . I felt tension stability was more of an issue with Polys.

Also power is neither better or worse. Some people like low powered strings and others like low powered strings. I personally think low pwered strings are better.

Wow!!! I am shocked that CF is equal to PPP both in tension stability and power. From everything I have read its exactly the other way around......

Also I coudn't include durability. I hear they are both pretty darn durable.

Hey Gut 'n guys

I have used both PPP and CF in a nukber of racquets and the CF wins hands down in ALL aspects of the string. PP felt soooooooo dead and woody.

Just my 2c

Thanks

Andrew

I find these results very surprising. From everything I have read most people feel quite differently.

First of all I read that people feel that CF is basically the same string as ALU power but for a cheaper price.

Also another difference is that most people found PPP more comfortable and more control.

eveyone seems to agrre that CF has more power...but thats not necessarily a good thing.

All in all most people like the PPP better. Check it out at www.stringforum.net . PPP has now won for like the third year in a row.

Its got me stuffed how or why anybody could like PPP better:confused: Its really not in cybers league as far as I am concerned. I cant think of anything to improve with cyberflash and its just so versatile, it works in every stick I have ever tried it in. from players sticks to tweeners and oversize game improvement racquets it just works great.

Every time I string someones racquet with this stuff they come back for more and never change to anything else again. That speaks volumes in itself.

The way I understand it CF is crispier, while SPPP is mushier. You've got to understand that people's replies will depend on their individual tastes. Imo, it doesn't make much sense to rely too much on people's preference here. You should really test both strings and decide for your self.

No that says a lot....I like mushy.

I use the radical tour as well and have tried both strings in it with the cyber winning hands down for me. I have it a 60lbs now and will drop it down to 57 - 58 to try and get a bit more power, especially on the serve. It is the sweetest sounding racquet I have heard with cyber in it.:D

SPPP is winning in the cats I focus more on. tension maintenance and comfort. I'm using the hextreme so I'm sure the spin potential evens out. I don't need anymore power.

control-wise...... sppp > cf

Durability...... cf 1.25mm > sppp 1.18mm (included the gauge since it might matter)

tension.... sppp > cf ..... more on this later

priceperstringjob..... cf > sppp

looks (color...)..... sppp > cf

ease of stringing..... sppp > cf

every other cat.... depends on tension, racket... etc. What i mean is that for the categories above, i can say for certain, in my experience and opinion, that has been the case.... for the other cats.... it depends.... i can elaborate if anyone has specific questions.

i will say, however, that though i like, use, and prefer sppp more than cf.... cf at its best (and my best... it takes two to tango :)) beats out sppp at its best.
