No, the combo I mentioned doesn't exist. But it's what the ATP should strive for.

I only have favourite seasons, no 5-year era is great, they all have major dips.

'7-'9 was mostly Fred and Ralph with occasional guest appearances from Murray and Djoker pitched against a landscape of MUGS, SMURFS, and ANTS.
'11-'13 had some interesting changes in the dynamic between the big 3 with Fedovic being intriguing, Fedal a foregone conclusion obviously, and ditto re:the buffoons dotting the rest of the landscape.

Fedal were amazing though that was like the peak of that rivalry. 2009 had everybody though that year had so much depth along with the BIG 3+Murray.
2011-13 was less about depth but the top was so dominant.

In my lifetime though, I’ll go with 2007/8-2012.

Well, for a 5 year period, I'd agree with 2008-2012. Those were the years of maximum contention and distribution among the Big 3. 2008 had Djokovic winning AO, Nadal taking the French, Nadal over Fed in the classic Wimby match, and Federer over Murray at the USO. 2012 had the classic Djokovic beating Nadal for the AO match, Nadal over Djokovic at the French, Fed over Murray at Wimbledon, and Murray over Djokovic at USO.

I wonder whether people really think 2006-2015 are the best years in men's tennis or if there is a recency bias here? I wonder how many people born before 1985 here voted for 2006-2010 or 2011-2015?
