Oh wow, I certainly didn't see this coming. Roddick losing on a hardcourt in America that's not greased up like Dubai. Seems like Dubai is a long way away. Oh wait it is. Lol! Where are you now Tangerine aka Orangeone. This really hurts his chances at being number one again. But he'll still win more Grand Slams from now on with this new improved game of his.

Sucks to Roddick's asthmar.
Hewitt better take out Querry, can't afford bad losses before clay season where he usually doesn't play all that much.

I really thought FSN would show more than one match. Yesterday coverage went 2 hours longer. What gives?

I'm in Ca and the Fox coverage went until 5 pm. They showed the Roddick match until completion, then they showed the Sharapova match till completion. The TV guide said the coverage was supposed to end at 1pm tho, I'm glad they went over. Hopefully they'll do the same tomorrow so I can see the DY - Nadal match.

I also got to see some of the Ancic match, and the Murray - Melzer match.

How do you know roddick has asthma ?? is that the reason for the loss ?

This is how rumours get started. :) As far as I know, Roddick does not have asthma. It is a colloquial way of putting someone down after a loss or just showing how little you think of them. Comes from the book "Lord of the Flies".

I saw parts of the match, and Haas looked like he was playing great and injury has fully healed now. this could be bad news for the rest of the field in the draw.

Haas was playing as well as he can during the tournament last year and couldn't beat an Andy Murray who was on one foot.

that was a mental breakdown, i am watching the Haas-roddick rerun and Haas looks awsome, i can't remember him hitting the ball this clean and hard and accurate

I didn't see any of the match, so couldn't tell if it was simply a matter of
Andy playing poorly. If it is a case of Haas finding his form again then that's great. The draw should allow him to reach at least the quarters or semis (depending on how the other Andy plays) and I would like to see him play Roger again. But that match is way too far in the future to think about for a head-case like Tommy.

I did not know this but Haas won the match on a letcord. Talk about getting lucky,,,

Right. And I suppose Haas was lucky the entire beginning through end of the match as well, when he was beating Roddick like he was a junior...pulling him to the net and lobbing over, hitting passes of all kinds and winners right and left.

If anyone was lucky it was Roddick. He got a shot spot overrule on his ball that was .0000000000000000002 millimeters on the line, and on first matchpoint Haas missed the easiest sitter Ive ever seen in my life.

Get a clue.

Yay! Roger won! He looked okay, but he really needs to step it up for other opponents. Now, he took the match, but can he really keep it up all week? I have concerns, but I guess that's why they say one match at a time.

Haha good one! But really, combine Roddick and Blake's brains together and you still get halfway to the brains of most guys in the top 50.

^^No need to insult anyone Morrissey.

The other guys in the top 50 are more than twice as smart as Blake and Roddick combined.

Lord of the Flies is an excellent book, love the pig dances. On another note, does anyone know what time Donald Young and Nadal are scheduled to play tomorrow?

Sorry, I don't really follow Davydenko much, so I don't know much aside from the fact that he loses a lot of matches, doesn't win many, and maintains a high ranking.

Well, the last part of your sentence should make you wonder. Something about: "loses a lot of machtes, doesn't win many" must be wrong. Think about it.
Isner is not even near the level of Davydenko and never will be, period.

What's with Davydenko beating Isner? That's odd...

I sincerely hope you're joking.Davydenko is one of the best returners of serve on tour along with Ferrer,Federer and Nalbandian. He is also one of the cleanest ballstrikers around.I always enjoyed watching Davydenko when he is on taking the ball very early and painting the lines.

LOL :).

But I find it strange that a man that has never reached a grand slam final, let alone winning one, is ranked number 4!

Check his rankings break down, he may not have been to a final or won one, but he shows up for the big events and peforms. Davydenko can ball, like it or not? He belongs where he's at because he has worked for it.
