Which of the current Head overgrips feel closest to Wilson Pro overgrip?

I was looking to get something similar to Wilson Pro in black.
Any advice on which Head overgrips feel closest to Wilson Pro overgrips?
Thx.

Thx DeeeFoo.
Prime tour is the one I was thinking about.
I like the XtremeSoft but wanted a bit of a softer feel like the Wilson Pro overgrip.
Wasn't' sure the Super Como or Prime Pro would give me that.

Prime Tour; rumours are it comes from same factory. Even the the way its cut at the tapered end is the same; and the way the 50 pack is packaged is the same as Wilson. I've stopped stocking the Wilson and have the Head in its place. Better pricing too

No problem. Personally, I feel like Head needs to simplify their overgrip lineup, as currently they have quite a few different overgrips which can make it hard to keep track of.

Any reason why you aren't able to use Wilson Pro Overgrip? I think it also comes in black.

I agree with Skippy. I’ve replaced Wilson with HEAD Prime Tour. Price is better, and they are exactly the same in my opinion

I used to play with Wilson Pro and Wilson Perf overgrips a lot until I discovered Kirschbaum Touch and to a lesser extent Volkl SuperPerf and Technifibre Pro Contact. They all come in white and/or red which matches the colors of my Pure Strike Tour racquet. Try these overgrips also.

I have 2 Speed MP frames. I try to keep a black overgrip on the one with the lower tension and white overgrip on the one with a higher tension.
Also, I've never seen Wilson Pro in black.

I am in the US.
I never looked at the bulk packs of overgrips to see the black version.
I agree that Head's overgrips are confusing.

Prestige Pro - tackiness and touch
Prime Pro - comfort and dry tacky feel
Prime Tour - tackiness and comfort
So, all are tacky and 2 have comfort and one has touch?
Yup! Clear as mud to me. o_O

HEAD Prime Tour - as explained by Denis Fabian himself (44:27 into the video). Also goes on to explain differences between several overgrips (Pro, Prime Pro, Prime Tour & effect of colors) in HEAD’s line up. Their catalog and package descriptions are not especially helpful!

Thanks for the video HMBs!
That kind of clears up where the Head grips fall compared to other brands like Wilson and Yonex.
I will try the Prime Tour over the weekend and post some thoughts.

Played with the Head Prime Tour overgirp yesterday.
Slightly more tacky than Wilson Pro and a bit more spongy/cushy.
I'll see how it plays over the next couple of matches and post about durability and feel over time.

I’m currently trialing it, too. Feels slightly tackier and a hair thicker than Wilson Pro overgrip. First impressions are that it’s close enough to be a viable alternative for me. As you said, need to see how it wears with use before a final decision.

I’ve tried just about every overgrip on the market (past and present) and never really found anything comparable to Wilson Pro - perhaps I’m just too accustomed to it. Prime Tour might just be the exception.

Agree with @HitMoreBHs. We carry Wilson pro at the shop I work at, so I’m pretty used to working with it. Just the other day, a customer brought me a single prime tour grip to put on his racquet. For me the prime tour is slightly thicker and tackier than the Wilson pro.

Head Prime Tour is a great grip but it’s different than Wilson Pro Overgrip.

HPT is tacky and gets tackier when slightly damp. WPO gets slick when damp.

I use rosin to keep my hands and overgrip dry. WPO gets better when rosin is added to it. Rosin prolongs the life of WPO. When rosin is applied to HPT, it becomes slick. The powder just rolls off of HPT.

These two overgrips are not the same but both are great!

After some extended testing, I’ve decided to stick with Wilson Pro overgrip. HEAD Prime Tour is almost as good and very similar, but when it gets very damp, it seems to get mushy with loss of elasticity, leading to the edges folding/curling over. Shame because I’m a massive fan of the brand and was hoping to switch to Prime Tour.

I found the Head prime tour to get super slick once you're all sweaty on a humid day so I stopped using it; but it is very close to wilson pro in all other features. Just wouldn't recommend for humid conditions.

I agree with HMB and papado. I found the HPT to play great when it's not humid outside. Gets slick and edges start to slip when wet. Wilson Pro has never done that for me. Overall, I like the spongier feel of the HPT, but might have to use the Wilson in the warmer months here and HPT in the cooler months.
