I think the first Grand Slam winner among these youngsters will be Raonic after a few years probably in US Open or most probably Wimbly.

Dimitrov's game is very complex with variety and aggressiveness. That is difficult style and probably he needs 5 or more years to mature and reach his highs, then eventually he can become the best amongst these players win multiple Grand Slams.

Tomic is non-conventional player and will gain quick results but not a Grand Slam titles. He have weak areas and sooner or later the other players will take advantage of this.

Dolgopolov is intelligent extraordinary player, I can't imagine what he can do in the next few years.

Nadal and Djokovic will rule the game for the next 3-4 years with some help from Tsonga.

Dolgopolov has a disease called Gilbert's syndrome that weakens him when he travels, he has to take intravenous medication to keep it under control. His best weapon is his unorthodox style, but the more the top players see him the more they will adjust to it. Like Santoro his unorthodox style kept him in the top 50 and he occasionally beat top players, but not with any consistency. This is about what I expect out of Dolgopolov over his career, given his physical limitations.

Why isn't Gulbis in the poll, he is the same age as Dolgopolov ?

Hmm, I wonder how much the injury affected Dolgo against Murray today?

He seemed to be moving all right, but hard to be sure.

Tomic did the better against Murray, but Murray dominated both of them in teh second sets...

I think Tomic being younger than the rest is significatn, though. Still growing, let alone improving...

Grigor Dimitrov

I don't think ANY of those players will ever win a single slam between them.

Nadal and Djokovic will continue mopping up slams until these Raonic/Harrison/Dolgopolov/Dimitrov/Nishikori/Tomic hype-jobs are too old to be considered contenders for slams anymore.

They will be a completely slamless generation.

The question was Which one of these Young & Upcoming Players to be Most Successful???

"Answer the question!!!...jerk!" :)

Tomic!

There are no slams, only majors!
Slams are for dreamers.
For Nadal & Djokovic it will all change, is already changing...

They are already Old for being upcoming players. All multislam champions and a majority of one slam wonders at that age (19 - 22 years old) were already champions or really top competition. Non of these guys are severe threats for current top players.

The only chance of winning a slam for these guys is when current Top 10 stop playing or get older. That will be the really weak era.

Regards.
