Which pair of rackets do I choose in this matching service? Head Prestige MP 2021

Hello!

My latest experiences with the Prestige line are "in red": 2019 european model Prestige S and Prestige Tour 305gr 18x19. I have read that this 2021 mp is more flexible than the 2019 Tour during impact. I really liked how heavy my ball flew with the Tour, but the sensation of rigidity was strange: sensations, from the sound, stiff at impact, but the energy was expelled "muted" and without problems for the arm.

My evolution in the last 10-12 years has been (I imagine that similar to many other users) to reduce the grip. I went from L4 to L2 and with those changes I see that I get more weight and a less "visual", but more damaging spin, with more closed pattern rackets without round head.

With large grips, in my First years with good leveI, I used Prince Tour Diablo MP, RDX 500, Aero Pro or similar, Head Extreme Pro... These types of frames now with L2 give me non-solid sensations. The only timeless exception was two seasons (2007 and 2021) with Head Radical Oversize Agassi 320gr, but I lost mobility with backhand and feeling with the drop shots and is other style of frame.

In the last 5 years, with swingweights close to 300 without stringing I have played some months with Yonex 95-98 rackets of 305-320gr, but 16x19. Never with 18 main strings.

My first wish was to go quickly for rackets 1 and 2, but I don't know if the most prudent and balanced decision would be to go for 4 and 6. I don't want to lose a lot of acceleration in the service and the backhand cross with slice.

I have used the search engine, but there is not much specific information about the MP 2021. I hope users can enjoy commenting here. They are not incredible differences between the 6 rackets, but these types of small things for us big fans of technical material are always a joy in our lives.

Current level in the 30s: 5.0. Last stage prior to university, 5.5. Physical condition: good athlete. 85-90% of the time I play on slow courts.

Do you know your final playing/match ready specs? If so, you can use the TWU customisation sheet to get to your desired specs, if you need to tinker with the racquets.
Otherwise I think 4 and 6 are pretty good if you are going to play stock.

@Circa 1762's reply is the correct one. 4 and 6. ~.5g of lead at 12 on #6 gets you matched to within .25g static, .25 points of balance and .25 points of swing weight. That's good enough for just about anybody.

It would also be interesting to calculate how much lead you would have to add to the BP of #6 to increase SW from 292 to match the 294 SW of #4; presumably this would give you matched SW and retain the already matching balance at the expense of a slightly greater discrepancy in static weight, albeit this is to me, particularly at this finite level of variance, the least noticeable of the three calculated parameters.

Thanks for all the comments. I should smile very very sweetly for that mission in my trusted store... qjmacdaununder2

It's curious, perhaps the evolution in the game and that most players with rhythm use twenner rackets, but I thought someone would bet on the 1&2 combo.

There's one racquet I've been curious in recent years: the Head Gravity Tour. Imagine a solid power, but I'm not a fan of that head shape for an 18x20. In similar forms, when I want to close the shot with a lot of topspin, the ball seems to spend too much time traveling across the wide surface and scrapes the strings, but loses revolutions. At various times, some good young guys (in my sparring work) have slowed me down with their Gravity MP, but I felt like I had good ball rhythm, but needed an extra push to close points.

Does the forum think racket 1 is "ungovernable"? Obsolete for current tennis?

Definitely 1 and 2. They are practically matched, in fact I would play them straight away without further customisation.
