Which player are you the most excited to watch?

Most excited to watch: Federer, Wawrinka, Thiem

Most bored to watch: any Murray vs Djokovic match (thankfully it hasn't happened since Doha in 2017, plus we were spared that borefest in Madrid last week)

I'm most bored by Novak (and to a lesser extent Rafa) because I've seen it all already, yet he still lingers to the end of pretty much every tournament he plays...

...except when his opponent is really taking it to him and forcing him to dig deep. That's still fun.

Most excited by Alcaraz right now.

Alcaraz because I didn't imagine we'd see this type of player again anytime soon. He's battle ready before turning 20 like how the top newcomers used to be up the time of Hewitt.

He’s not retired until he is retired.
I am sitting on my couch waiting for him.
Well, he's not even training. He'll play doubles with Rafa at LC (and won't play singles) and will play Basel and say Adieu. I hope I'm wrong! It's impossible to make a "comeback" at age 41, even for someone of Roger's lofty ability. All he's doing he meandering around to Africa, Dubai, Venice, Paris and doing endless commercials and sponsor obligations. If he was truly, truly invested to trying to play in 2022, he'd be working his ass off 7 hours a day.

He's not.

I am not reading this, Alcaraz fan!

Alcaraz for sure.

Gasquet for most boring. Just retire already. Norrie, RBA, PCB also very high on the boring meter.

I'm pretty sure Roger has lost the fire for the daily grind and has now worked out holding the slam record is irrelevant for his legacy. As Sampras worked out soon after retirement.
People forget the past very quickly. Federer is a billionaire loved worldwide by billions. Whether Nadal and Djokovic beat him in the Slam count matters not one little bit. Nadal has also worked that out. Once he has retired he won't care either as he is more than happy with his career.
Djokovic is the obsessed one and even if he gets it he will soon realise his legacy won't change either as sadly for him he will always be the third most popular of the 3 and therefore get less media coverage and adulation
The best example is Margaret Court. She has the Slam record and nobody cares.
Recency bias is now more of a thing than ever before. Give is 12 months or 24 months and Alcaraz will be hailed as the GOAT by young people and the media will lap it up.

Exciting: Federer, Nadal, Thiem, Alcaraz,
Boring: RBA, PCB actually many spanish players, Isner, Opelka, Tiafoe, Norrier, De Minaur
