Besides Roger of course. It seems to be an uncommon hybrid.
They use the same strings as Federer.
Oh, wait, I'm not a pro...
quite a bit of players
about 60% of them
Murray as well iirc.
I think Murry is Gut crosses.
Bob and Mike use Big Banger Alu Power crosses and X-1 Biphase mains. They have been for years, as Technifibre was one of their first professional sponsors.
Hewit and Bryan Brothers
haas switched to gut mains w/ poly crosses for the clay season.
I'd have to agree with NickC here on the layup of the Bry brothers string job.
Ljubicic does. Did 4 today for him. Tension ranged from 27kg to 30kg.
I saw their racquets being strung in monte carlo at tecnifibre. They are using natural gut from babolat. They changed
I thought Djokovic does not hybrid?
Yea Nole does. He switched to the same set up as Fed- Natty Gut mains w/ Poly (BB) crosses. Not 100% but I think he uses the same strings too...
Murray is poly mains and gut crosses. I remember the commentators talking about it during one of the big clay events
Ahh very interesting. I feel it was a poor choice on his part to switch from Wilson to Head. His shots were much better last year, just watch his match against Nadal at queen's. He played superb even though he lost.
He switched after the 2007 season when he was with wilson. He had that great 2008 season with using Gut mains and BB alu power crosses.
I was referring more so to his racket switch.
