Which Racket Should I Buy?

Hello guys! Ok, I'am going to order my rackets in about 3 Hours. I had a hard time choosing between the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick 2012, The Head Ig Prestige Pro, Donnay Pro One, Ig Prestige MP, Wilson Blx 6.1 95 16x18. I have chosen the Wilson BLX six one 95 16x18. What do you guys think? Anyone who has hit with any of these please tell me. One of my Friends is leaving New York Day after, so he has to buy them NOW! About me, 4.5 with a Big serve, weakest part of my game are volleys. Looking for decent feel, comfort and forgiveness. Thanks!

Wait, are the rackets for you or your friend leaving New York? And All of those rackets are good rackets, we can't tell you which one to choose. Have you demoed any of the rackets you mentioned?

If you can't demo, you might as well just close your eyes and pick one. If feel and comfort are important, take the PDR out of the mix. If you also want forgiveness, remove the Prestige MP. IMO the Wilson is the most versatile of what's left.

Ok the Babolat is out. My only option is to flip a coin, which i will do soon, unless someone can give me a comparison.

Umm honestly if your not a very skilled player then Pure Drive will give you best results. So many ppl are usng it and I know why. When you are late at the ball it gives you that extra little more to send ball over net.

I really think the Wilson is the best of the options you present in terms of its all round qualities. I personally feel the HEAD, while a fantastic frame, is quite demanding and can be a bit hard on your arm..

those of you introducing other options like the Donnay, just stop, ok, poor guy asked a very specific question!

What was your string setup? From what i heard, it is a pretty comfy racket. I ordered mine with Volkl Cyclone 16.

I have it strung with basic synthetic @ 55lbs. A very regular and non harsh set up in pretty much any other frame I've played. I wouldn't even touch poly with this frame.

Your biggest concern should be can you handle the swingweight of the Wilson racquet?

Have you tried all of those racquets?

What stiffness level do you like in a racquet?

I currently use a Pure drive gt ledded up to around 11.8 ounce. This defines Harshness for me. My main concern is weather the prestige is as forgiving as my babolat. Anyway i ordered 1IGPP and 1IGPMP and a Dunlop 4d 200 tour just for fun..:). I have tried the youtek prestige pro and it felt good, felt lighter than my PD. Well lets see how it goes when i get them on friday.
