Which Racket's Bumper Guard Annoys You The Most?

Hi everyone I'm Robbie a newbie here.

Anyway i just wanted to know if there's anyone out there that is annoyed/fed up as much as I am about the bumper guards on the Pro Staff Tour 90 or the Nsix One Tour 90. I find them so thin and flimsy and I constantly have to replace them cause even a minor brush along the court is enough to make the darn thing peel back.

I never had the same problem with the bumper guard on my Babolat Pure Drive cause it was just so thick/chunky/beasty. And even when i scratched that one along the ground I never had to worry about replacing it. But with the Tour 90 or Nsix One Tour 90 a peel back means buying a new bumper guard for me.

Is there any other option for protecting the bumper guard other than putting on protective bumper guard taping over it? Oh and yeah sometimes its not an option for me to avoid hitting the ground sometimes because those low balls will force me to risk the racket scraping the ground.

i hate the LM prestige when im stringing my racquets, otehr than that they look nice!!!

i hate the companies that try to mkae their bumper gaurds look cool *cough*prince, with their holes n design in the bumper gaurd....

I agree

I'm not a big fan of the Yonex bumperguards. They're very thin.

I don't get why you think the LM Prestige MP with the CAPS is so hard to string. It's not harder at all for me.

I would have to say the grommet strip for the Babolat VS Nanotube Power - believe it or not, for me, it's worse than Head's CAP grommet.

The racquet is my friend's. Anyway, the grommet strip is so soft, when you start pulling the cross-strings, the grommet gets damaged from the string rubbing against the hole. It's like a sawing effect for the grommet strip.

Humm... I play with Chicago version Pro Staff Original. So there's no bumper guard at all. I've trained myself not to smash my racket onto ground no matter how low the ball is coming. So, basically any kinda bumper guard is fine for me.

Can remember how easily the bumperguard broke on the Babolat PC. Fishu, unblock a hole in a PC600 after using 15 gauge string. Forgetaboutit

Trying to string 15 gauge string through a new set of CAPS ... fun!

yeah tahts nuts. i strung upa few i prestige mids with luxilon big banger 16. weaving with that is hell on earth, its just nuts toward either end of the frame.

Nearly all Fischer racquets have seriously thin and flimsy bumper guards, especially on the Pro No. 1.

Again, LM Presige mid is a nightmare to string...
