Which rackets would the Big Three choose if they had to switch?

Apologies if this has been asked on here before (I did do a search and couldn’t find anything), but I was randomly thinking earlier about which rackets Nadal, Djokovic and Federer would switch to if they had to move away from Babolat, HEAD and Wilson.

Fed and Yonex initially sprung to mind because of the Japanese link with UNIQLO (although I didn’t have a particular racket in my head for him). Not sure about the other two.

Thoughts?

Novak back to h22
oldererer can't see him with a modern stick or anything isometric so probably head. tbh nothing plays like pro staff
baldilocks to ezone100

I think Roger would be more likely to develop his own racquet, not move to an existing company. Then it could be sold at a premium price, and make it super limited. But my view on this might just be skewed by the On shoes...

Interesting responses!

Djokovic to Tecnifibre. 95” and 18x19 like Medvedev.

Now you mention it, Novak and Technifibre definitely sounds like the obvious shout.

Good call on this. It shows how intertwined Fed and Wilson are that we can’t imagine him with any other company.

Out of interest, have you tried the On THE ROGER Pro tennis shoe yet? I’ve got a pair of their more relaxed trainers (which are nice but expensive!) and I’m curious as to what the actual tennis shoe is like.

Or sign a huge deal with Artengo or something like that. Following the Uniqlo model

That footage that was on here a few years of Nadal hitting with the Prestige certainly made it look as though he was pretty comfortable with it. I like the Extreme suggestion though - I could picture that.

I could picture Djokovic swinging a Blade again, but Technifibre is a good fit for him.

Fed? No idea but seeing him with a Yonex would be a trip.

Fed would go to a Prestige or something. Djokovic back to an H22 with a Blade pj considering that it’s the equivalent to a Speed in the retail versions of the rackets (I think). Nadal to an Ezone or Wilson actually decides to make nice Burns then that. I remember talking to a Wilson rep and the Burn was supposed to be the AeroPro/Pure Aero competitor but ended up flopping.

Agree with others that Federer would go with another player's racquet/classic line and the prestige is an obvious choice. The old school Dunlop 100s would be cool too but I don't know what their current successors are.

For some reason I really see Djokovic rocking a Pure Storm / Strike / Control. I guess the idea of Djoko with a Babolat just intrigues me.

I definitely want Nadal to go to the extreme in terms of aerodynamics or spin potential and see what spin he can achieve. The flat beam of the Aero is more a gimmick than anything. Now Speedports/O3, that's a different story. Or hit with a Wilson Steam.

I have not tried the tennis shoe. I have a pair of On running shoes that I love, and I got a pair of the Roger casual sneakers that are OK, but look cool.

Never knew such footage existed. Anyone kind enough to post it?

Nadal wasn’t testing a Prestige. He was testing the MXG3 and probably testing the Extreme Tour as well.

Whoever offered him the most money, duh! Then he would use the same racket he always has, but painted like the one that the new racket company wants to sell.

Fed: plays with rather stiff, depolarized, open pattern racquet -> Tecnifibre RS 315 but branded as Lacoste frame - they would sell it for next 50 years :)

Djoko: dense pattern, average stiffness, insane twistweight -> Blade Pro - boring! How about Yonex 97D. Novak and Yonex patterned shorts would fit nicely to each other :D

Rafa: first of all, Rafa could play with a frying pan and still win Rolland Garros - Tefal endorsement?
His setup is non-existent today: thick beam, low twistweight -> Wilson could make him to play BLX Steam 100 painted as a PowerBlade :D
