Who beside Rafa and wozniaki won slam with aero?Id say single Grandslams in the modern era? Rafa's Aero no doubt.
Djokovic never really used a retail line under the paint (don't say liquid metal radical) and his string pattern and therefore "frame" changed cutting his GS numbers below Rafa's tried and true 22 grand slams
No one but that was ONE single racket that they both used. Well Woz has the cortex so hers dont count.Who beside Rafa and wozniaki won slam with aero?
Radical line has at least 40+ slams, as asked in the OP - the line of rackets — ND based on LM Radical, Cilic, AA, Murray, Guga…all types of radicals…Id say single Grandslams in the modern era? Rafa's Aero no doubt.

That was not what the question was in the OPWilson... Sampras, Fed, Sabalenka,
Racquet line...Wilson... Sampras, Fed, Sabalenka,
Do we count murray? I know PT57A is based off of the original radical mold but it was always a different line, no? But I do think Radical is up there for sure. May be the highest.Radical line has at least 40+ slams, as asked in the OP - the line of rackets — ND based on LM Radical, Cilic, AA, Murray, Guga…all types of radicals…
If the question was specific mode, not line of rackets, then probably Aero.
Well the Pro at our was the predecessor of the zebra and bumblebee and so on so we could….Do we count murray? I know PT57A is based off of the original radical mold but it was always a different line, no? But I do think Radical is up there for sure. May be the highest.
Cilic, and a bunch of them in doubles.29 Mens singles titles alone between Djokovic and AA for the radical alone. and that's just singles. Will do some research to see who else.
Even if we don't count murray radical still may be #1. Is sloane stephen's racquet a radical underneath the PJ?Well the Pro at our was the predecessor of the zebra and bumblebee and so on so we could….
I thought cilic used a prestige mid? (and later pt57a) I'm not that well versed in him tbhCilic, and a bunch of them in doubles.
231.3, MG Radical MPI thought cilic used a prestige mid? (and later pt57a) I'm not that well versed in him tbh
Djokers is radicalIt's either the Pro Staff of the Prestige line of frames. Thats if you count Djoko's racquet as a Prestige and not Speed
ah yes. I meant RadicalDjokers is radical
Shame they're now trying to axe the pro staff... without a doubt one of the most legendary racket lines in tennis history. The Pro Staff was used by Federer, Sampras, Courier, Edberg, Graff, Evert. That's like ~70 singles slams just from them? Wilson's website counts 117, but they are probably including doubles.
Unless there was another line that was used for 30 years by multiple players at one point in the GOAT conversation, that's gotta take the crown.
It’s going to carry into 2026, not dead yet.Shame they're now trying to axe the pro staff... without a doubt one of the most legendary racket lines in tennis history.
Hi dr325i- why Guga Radical? Wasn't it a PT 630?Radical line has at least 40+ slams, as asked in the OP - the line of rackets — ND based on LM Radical, Cilic, AA, Murray, Guga…all types of radicals…

The PT630 is kind of…radical, no?Hi dr325i- why Guga Radical? Wasn't it a PT 630?

And Slazenger Challenge No. 1
I actually loved the Slazenger more than the MaxPly. It felt better. And Slazenger Challenge No. 1
You had the Jack Kramer Pro Staff (came out in 1970) and the Chris Evert Pro Staff (that was released in 1982). The Pro Staff Midsize had nothing to do to do with those wood racketsPro Staff goes back to the days of wood.
i think mac won one or two with the pro staff didn’t he? or was it all dunlop? You had the Jack Kramer Pro Staff (came out in 1970) and the Chris Evert Pro Staff (that was released in 1982). The Pro Staff Midsize had nothing to do to do with those wood rackets
McEnroe won the 1979 and 1980 US Open with the JACK KRAMER Pro Staff which is a mono shaft wood racket. The only racket that just said Pro Staff was the graphite and Kevlar racket that Pete Sampras, Stefan Edberg, Jim Courier made famous and John never used that frame.i think mac won one or two with the pro staff didn’t he? or was it all dunlop?
yeah i meant the wood one. i’d still count it as part of the pro staff line personally.McEnroe won the 1979 and 1980 US Open with the JACK KRAMER Pro Staff which is a mono shaft wood racket. All racquet lines evolve over time. this is not a thread of which specific mold has the most titles over time. as that would be boring. max 200g, tk57, or pro staff 85 would maybe win that though if i had to guess. Many racquet lines really bear no resemblance to their predecessors apart from name. It seems a bit ridiculous to claim they are the same thing in any way apart from just being a tennis racquet.
names carry brand recognition. they carry on for a reason. if companies gave a new name for every new mold that came out it would be one of the stupidest business decisions they could make.Yes and that's why I think the name shouldn't carry on past a certain point. It becomes meaningless.
for good reasonPro Staff has been slapped on every manner of racquet.
I wouldn’t and it isn’t. It was part of the Jack Kramer line of rackets. There was also Chris Evert Pro Staff that was part of the Chris Evert line. You’re confused.yeah i meant the wood one. i’d still count it as part of the pro staff line personally.
I’m not confused, i mean it still has the pro staff moniker, but that’s totally fair that one wouldn’t.I wouldn’t and it isn’t. It was part of the Jack Kramer line. There was also Chris Evert Pro Staff that was part of the Chris Evert line. You’re confused.
It was the Jack Kramer Pro Staff and had nothing to do with a graphite midsize racket. The Jack Kramer Pro Staff along with the Jack Kramer Autograph, Jack Kramer Autograph Midsize were part of the same line of wood racket endorsed by Jack Kramer. It was part of his line of rackets. You’re confused.I’m not confused, i mean it still has the pro staff moniker, but that’s totally fair that one wouldn’t.
i totally get it. but i’d lean loose and if it has pro staff in the name i’ll add it to the tally. you’re not wrong. PS97 and the PS6.1 are unbelievably different for graphite racquets as well.It was the Jack Kramer Pro Staff and had nothing to do with a graphite midsize racket. i don’t disagree about the frames not being close. i’m willing to bend the rules because, (although there really are no rules for this lol) they just all have the words “pro staff” in their name.Better add Chris Evert Pro Staff to the list.
And the Pro Staff 6.1 95 and Pro Staff are evolutions on the them of graphite and Kevlar composite frames inspired by the original Pro Staff Midsize graphite and Kevlar. The wood rackets aren’t even loose.
