I think Kyrgios now and de Minaur in 2020 have decent chances at the AO depending on how the draw pans out

I don't see any of the other three happening any time soon

A teen winning a slam. In a way I would love to see a teen come in and slay the big three and take over tennis.

How epic would it be for a teenager to beat Djokovic at AO, Nadal at FO and Federer at W in succession winning three slams in the process? A new legend would be born and Tennis would be "saved."

Sadly it now appears the big three will leave when they are good and ready, not when the failed next gen forces them out.

Here are the last time any of these things happened:

1. Last American man to win the US Open: Andy Roddick in 2003. (Second-last: Pete Sampras in 2002).
2. Last Australian man to win the Australian Open: Mark Edmondson in 1976. (Second-last: John Newcombe in 1975).
3. Last French man to win Roland Garros: Yannick Noah in 1983. (Second-last: Marcel Bernard in 1946).
4. Last English man to win Wimbledon: Fred Perry in 1936. (Second-last: Fred Perry in 1935).
5. Last teenager to win a Grand Slam: Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros 2005. (Second-last: Pete Sampras at US Open 1990).

I include the second-last time to make two points:
a. Nadal is the only teen Slam champion in 28 years.
b. Both France and England have had long, long droughts at their home Slams. Australia's is getting up there, too. So, I voted for option 1, as there will likely be another generation of dominant American men at some point, whereas there might not be for any of the other countries. At least not in a while. Kyrgios has more chance than any current American man, but there's a pretty good chance that Kyrgios will not win the Australian Open in his career, so I didn't regard him as the decisive factor. And Alex de Minaur is not winning a Slam.

I'd rather see Wawrinka go on a run and get a career grand slam.

I agree with this and voted #2. Nick has the best shot to make it happen, but I would never bet on it

The Aussies look the closest... And that's not saying much :D The French have no hope on the horizon, Isner must have just had his best shot, aside from him things look pretty bleak, and the idea of him still being at this level a year from now seems a stretch. Edmund is good, but even if he crawls out of his current slump it doesn't really seem to me like grass is going to be the surface for him to make an impact. Honestly, the teenager option is probably the MOST likely, and considering we're on the cusp of having no mens major winners under the age of 30 that's pretty crazy.
