Which string is most like RPM Blast?

The only polys I've played with are RPM Blast, Lux Rough, Tourna BHB7, and Volkyl Cyclone.

The Rough obviously doesnt fit in with the others, but of the other three I've tried, I'd rank em RPM Blast>>> BHB7 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Volkyl Cyclone.

Well, anyway, I've got some holiday giftcards I need to use, and since I cant buy RPM Blast with em, I need the next best thing.

Right now I have BHB7 ordered as I think its fairly close, but would still like suggestions to see if theres something thats closer to RPM Blast.
Something with a slippery coating for string slide, and not just edge shaped for spin which isnt as effective as the string slide.

You should check out strings from mamba tennis. They listed black mamba and RPM power having similarities to RPM Blast.

If it were me, I'd use the gift card as a chance to try something completely new and different to what you have ever tried before. If it doesn't work out, you didn't really waste money, and you can go back to the strings you liked already.

I was playing with RPM blast for a while and enjoyed the results but wanted something a little cheaper. I come across Yonex Poly Plus Pro Tour 130 and feel they are quite similar. Granted RPM Blast provides much more spin but the feel is reminiscent of each other.

If it were me, I'd use the gift card as a chance to try something completely new and different to what you have ever tried before. If it doesn't work out, you didn't really waste money, and you can go back to the strings you liked already.

Well that's the thing. I already did that with the three others and only liked the bhb7. Was trying to find a cheaper replacement to rpm blast but bhb7 is only at like 80% of rpm blast. The idea of paying like 65% less for bhb7 is appealing, but I'd rather not give up playability for cost if I could.

Over-priced IMO. You can get better spin, longer life and pay half the amount by going with Volkl Cyclone.

One of the reviews on BB NYC Bomber said a user put it in his son's racquet. His son really enjoys RPM Blast. The Bomber was put in without his knowledge and the player hasn't even noticed...

No way.

It's harder on the arm, and not nearly as much spin or power.

Try Dunlop Black Widow, BB Original (rough) and Prince Beast XP.

I've done the RPM Blast, BHB7, WC Black5Edge, MSV Focus Hex, Black Widow, and Disco Iontec Black.

When the RPM Team came out I switched back and have really enjoyed it alot. If I changed to any of the above it would be Focus Hex or Iontec Black. Both of those perform really well for their price point..

IMO I would say WC Black5Edge or Lux Savage.
