i hit the n6.1 95 last night and couldn't believe how light it was. it felt like the lightest 12+ ounce racket i've ever held, which had its up and downs. i couldn't really plough through, but that meant i could hit out pretty well.

but in browsing through this board, a lot of you seem to feel the n6.1 95 is heavy, heavier than expected even for a 12 ounce racket. i'm really curious to see how people compare the feel of its weight to its predecessor, the hps6.1 95, which to me was always a little sluggish

so which do you think swings heavier? thanks

How many mains string has the n6.1 that you hitted with, 16 or 18? Because there is a version of the n6.1 with 18 mains and a weight of 285 grams unstrung.

no, mine was 16x18 and printed on the throat was 11.7 ounces, so it was the main release. i have no idea why wilson chose to list the unstrung weight, but that's a different issue.
i remember when the tour 95 came out, they listed the specs for the tour 90 on the cardboard insert alongside but listed the t90 strung weight next to the unstrung t95 weight...

I've played them both and I agree that the N6195 is somehow easier to swing (a tiny bit) than the HPS61. Supposedly they are very close in swingweight (332 vs. 330) but IMO the N6195 moves/cuts thru the air easier if that makes sense.

I played a match last weekend and broke strings in my N6195 and had to go to the HPS61. To me the HPS61 is a little more solid feeling overall but it's stiffness led me to the softer Ncode version which I like so far.
