Which tennis player/s would you most want to have dinner with? Not romantically but conversation wise

What are the topics that you and Djo may differ on? And med may agree.
Also, you and djo are compatriots, I'm sure you both can relate a lot of stuff to each other and share thoughts in Serbian which is the native language of both.
Medicine for one, probably technology, and I just overall I think I'd be more into tech talk. It'd be OK for a conversation, but I think I could get more out of Med. What games he plays, what's his goal moving forward, what he would've done if not for tennis.

This is all stuff Djokovic left behind over a decade ago.

If I could speak Spanish I would pick Nadal as he seems a very thoughtful, philosophical fellow in his native tongue, but as I cannot I will pick his compatriots Muguruza and Badosa and they can TEACH me Spanish, etc. over dinner!

Nadal could be interesting I could see that but of course the conversation needs to happen where both party can speak the same language. But if he remains diplomatic than it won't be that much interesting. The conversation needs to be intimate or heart to heart. With Andy & Nole, I don't think we'll run the same risk. I see them being true to their feelings regardless of the circumstances (for the most part).

For thoughtful conversation beyond just tennis, James Blake. Mischa Zverev, Caroline Wozniacki, Andrea Petkovic. I've had the opportunity to speak to these athletes and they are genuine, intelligent, and brave enough to speak their own point of view and not default to a public image.

I am not interested in having conversations with any tennis player, just because I don’t think he/she would be interested in having one with me, and for a conversation to be interesting, both parties should be interested.

I choose Medvedev (other than my favorite player Rafa) because I think he is goddamn hilariously funny.
I'm going with Med too for the exact reasons you gave. He's entertaining, funny, smart and not P.C.

Having dinner with either Fed or Nadal would be boring af since neither ever says anything remotely controversial or particularly interesting.

But have you ever heard their private convos though? Assuming that at this dinner you and the player will be comfortable with each other and they won't think you'll be trying to give click-bait stories to the media, both Federer and Nadal should have plenty of interesting things to say, IMO. Idk if they'd share any controversial opinions with a stranger, but in my experience controversy isn't the cornerstone of engaging conversations.

It is not like the female players will invite me to their bed after a date, so it is pointless to have a date with those intentions.

So I pick Pete Sampras, have a lot of questions to ask him and need to know his views on many things.

Including the GOAT Race, I know he rates Novak the best now, but there was a time when he rated Federer the best, need to know what he thinks about Nadal and also on what he would be if he were playing now .....some questions on tennis psychology as well.

Now you understand my choice.

I am not sure what that player would be, but one thing is certain - i would not sit around anywhere close to any of the next gens (or at this point better call them - young gens), they are all cringe material to me!

Barty. Smartest most humble player around.
Ons Gabeur. I think she has a fascinating background to get where she’s at in an Arab country.
NK. So I can tell him he’s a pryck to his face.
O f course, obvious choice would be RF too…

but yeah… Barty.

I think one time he expressed that he would have liked to play Nadal in a real match (don't remember the exact words but something along the line). He already played Federer one time. As to Djokovic, I think he'd love that as well. I think he is most fond of Novak these days.

If you like Mac Donald choose Paire.

Pete at the end of the dinner " Sorry I don't know where I put my wallet".

I see your reasons min ven.
What about a dinner with me? I'm also a tech geek....

Maria Sharapova. She seems so chill and fun outside tennis based on her Instagram. She can talk about a lot more things than just tennis like her businesses.
