Which Tennis players have dual citizenship ?

xFedal

Legend
Fed is both Swiss/South African..... Nadal only Spanish? Any of the French players that have been living in Switzerland for 10+ years gotten Swiss citizenship yet?

Ajla Tomljanović -Croatian/Australian

Sofia Kenin- Russian/American

Yulia Putinseva- Russian/Kazakhstan

I am a tennis player and have triple citizenship. Beat that.
My wife has four... and still plays tennis occasionally.
I have triple and also qualify for the 4th one, but too lazy to apply.

Why are people who have no clue posting that player X has such and such citizenship?

Stop giving false information!
That's the norm here. Just this week we had some ill-informed person claiming McEnroe and Lendl never shook hands at the net after their matches (demonstrably and idiotically false), that Boris Becker is a Swiss citizen and that Agassi doesn't have the CGS since he never won the FO. Then when you call them out of their inaccuracies, they either futilely argue or disappear from the thread. Never mind the 20 year olds swarming into Sampras threads and offering "information" on a player they never saw aside from a 65 second grainy Youtube clip.

4? Wow, I think 3 is rare but 4 is unreal. I wonder what % of the world's population has 4 citizenships.

I think Taro Daniel has like quadruple citizenship...

US/Japan/Spain and Bulgaria or something. Maybe Latvia too.

Japan doesn't allow it after the age of 20 (or 21?). There was a lot of discussion about this, re. Osaka, relatively recently.

Yes you're right. He may have a few citizenships still though. I remember some commentators going on about it, probably that day he beat Nole.

they may be born abroad... are you sure all the players who've been mentioned possess multiple citizenships?
some, such as haas (GER/USA), do indeed have it but it would be good to have some links to back up most of the claims! ;)
