Which tournaments Federer HASN'T won?

The guy has been so successful and a legend but I wonder: which ones of the existing ATP-level tournaments Fed hasn't won? Are there still "white spots on the map"?

And in which ones had he participated at least once in his life but did not held their trophy?

Marseille.
Queens.
Houston.
Legg Mason Classic.
Indianapolis Championship
Doha
Bareclona
SAP open
Memphis
Olypmic gold singles
Davis cup
ATP World tour Finals (London)
Tokyo

He's won 6/9 masters, the only one better was Agassi with 7/9.

He can still win Paris though if he's really up to it, and I think Monte Carlo and Rome will be more open now than before so he's got a chance in those too (he's been a finalist in both multiple times).

He's not playing monte carlo this year though, is't still a 1000 or 500 event? I think he'll win paris before monte carlo or rome, that's if he wants to accomplish 9/9 masters (not something he aims for I don't think).

He won Doha in 2006
And he's won the year-end Cup four times-Dosent matter where it was as long as he has it

Not that much left for Federer to achieve in tennis anymore, to challenge himself and make the life more interesting, he should aim to complete the Golf Grand Slam from now on.

Federer won the Masters Cup. Not the world Tour Finals which is the same format but in a completely different location.

He has won Marseliie in 2003, and tokyo in 2006.

He needs to win Adelaide, Auckland, Copenhagen, Barcelone, St.Poelten, Queens,Nottingham, Hertogenboosch,Washington, Indianoplis, Long Island, Taskkent, Toulouse, Moscow, Lyon and Stockholm!
And Master series: Rome, Monte Carlo,Shanghai and Paris

How about how many tournaments has Federer won at least 4 times?

1. Wimbledon
2. US Open
3. Australian Open
4. Masters Cup
5. Halle
6. Hamburg
7. Dubai

does the olympic medal even mean that much to players now?

didn't massu win it and then look like a complete idiot at next year's australian open, i don't think it means much to them, it would be cool to see fed as a golden slam champion though.

other than that and some masters events i don't think federer has much to do or accomplish.

who really cares about things like adelaide? not important to me since formula one raced there to me.

I was literally guessing the tournaments.

Brisbane maybe, eastbourne LOL, delray beach, Lyon indoors (even though it has been diminished).

It's not on his schedule this year, in stead he will play Estoril again. But he picked up a WC this year, maybe he will do so again if he has disappointing results at IW/Miami. Not counting on that to happen btw.
As far as I know MC is still a 1000-event, but not mandatory like the others.

he said that at the end of his career he plans to play Mickey Mouse tourneys all over the world, and especially in South America. Not sure if this will happen, but it will be nice seeing him play there.:)

How long ago did he say that? At any rate, that seems really cool.

I think the Olympic medal means a lot to Federer. He's committed to the London games as soon as it was announced as the host city. And as excited as he was to win the doubles medal I think he would be doubly excited for a singles medal.

So if they change AO location to another city ( which is being talked about) you would say he never won Australian Open?

Q: Speaking of later, when do you think you’ll end your career?
RF: To calm down everybody, I said I’ll play until the 2012 Olympic Games in London. But it’s a minimum. I don’t think I’ll stop there. I see myself playing after, but differently. I’ll try to play some new tournaments, to do some exhibitions in South America, where I’ve nearly never been to.

sry if this sounds stupid but what are mickey mouse tournaments?
every tourny that isn't a GS or MS

Davis Cup (which should be in his cabinet by the end of this year)
Rome
Monte Carlo
Olympics Gold
And only the first looks plausible.

He ain't winning MC and Rome as long as Nadal exists

And i doubt he is winning Olympic Gold at 35 and on clay, Nadal's best surface

3 Tournaments Federer would like to win

Hi Federer I believe should focus on the following 3 tournaments:

1/ 1 More Wimbledon - which would make him the all time record holder.

2/ Monte Carlo

3/ Rome

(2) & (3) wins would complete a set of the 9 Masters 1000 tournaments that he hasn't won yet. He has been to the final 3 times for Monte Carlo (but hit the owner to Monte Carlo - Nadal on each occasion). He has been to the Rome final on 4 occasions.

How about the sub-masters?

Chennai
Brisbane
Sydney
Barcelona
Washington D.C.
Atlanta
Beijing

Of these, I really wish he would play and win Chennai. Wonder if he's ever even been to India.

That said. What's so great about Chennai? It's just a small 250 tournament that shouldn't be anywhere near the top of the priority list of any top 10 player.

I wonder if a tennis player even COULD win all of the 250s, 500s, Masters, Slams, Olympic singles, YEC and Davis Cup.

That would be pretty epic.

That would be quite a feat, cause im sure that there are at least 3 tournaments played at the same time, sometime during the year.

Lol, I just did a little research, and yeah it would be pretty epic, since 3 tournaments are played at the same time on 8 different occasions throughout the year. There's also 2 tournaments played at the same time, a few times as well.

Plus the Olympics every four years makes even less likely to happen, so no...
I don't think that this happen any time soon.

Fed had to deal with a clay goat and a bad matchup younger than him.

Comparing Fed to other clay greats as far as I'm concerned he won those three clay masters. The Rafa factor.

In Masters he's yet to win Rome and Monte Carlo. Shanghai was Madrid Indoors before which he won so I think we should count that as a win. And LOL at the people saying he hasn't won Paris.

Nadal:
