Which type(s) of opponent is most likely to be your "pigeon"?

What are the top 3 characteristics (either technical or physical) of a player that make it easy for you to play against? (ofc assuming he/she is about the same level as yours)
My top 3:
- Short ( < 5'9)
- Slow
- Weak serves

If my opponent has all these 3 attributes, there's a high chance I would beat him 8 out of 10 times.

Sounds like me. I am 5'9, slow (should be slow), and haven't hit a serve in months. Not really a good one in years. I think right now I would lose 10 out of 10 times. lol

I need to get out there again. Rain, hurricanes, stress, had me just working mostly on my upper body strength. Actually lower body strength has improved, but vertical jump is garbage right now due to being lazy and gaining 10 pounds (half upper body muscle and half fat).

A pusher [someone who wins by playing extremely high % shots to the fat part of the court without much pace or spin and dislikes higher risk like passing shots]; I S&V which is the bane of a typical pusher.

The exception would be someone whose a level above me who can place their returns accurately and make me volley from my shoelaces all match long.

Cocky. Tall. Big hitter.

I know it is a joke post but actually they can be easy to beat. They are not use to the ball coming back off their big shots and self destruct. Nothing funnier than some big guy melting down because they have been beaten by someone half their size. I actually had one guy launch his racket into the back fence, after I baggled him or maybe I am just very irritating?

Agree but a pigeon is somebody you beat every time, and those guys if they play well can win or lose any given day.

Everybody who I absolutely own doesn't have a big enough weapon to hurt me.

It used to be the pusher. And I don't mean a Giles Simon type of pusher, I mean the guy that slices everything back or hits very slow topspin shots and is never able to generate pace on his own.

Now anyone can beat me.

I fare well against the wannabe Federer / Nadal types mostly (but up to a certain point of course)
  • The Federers because they're going to miss more than me, and they tend to have no backhand
  • The Nadals because they're going to hit balls with high net clearance with just enough topspin on it that it won't be like having to hit floaters
I also prefer to play against players who hit low slices over those people who hit moonball floating slices.

At the same time I fare poorly against grinders and counterpunchers. Excessive grunting and trashtalking get in my head with more regularity than I'd like as well.

People that can't resist going for inopportune winners, typically uses a pure drive or aero :) , overconfidence coupled with impatience.
