Danihan all the way
With womens tennis it seems to always be up in the air...
This is the same situation as last week- how can I make a prediction when the WTA is not even televised until the quarterfinals??? With the depth of the WTA it is a total crap shoot, a blind guess, at this point when you can't see how the players are performing right now. Anyone can win any event in the wta. It is not predictable like the atp. If I could see the first few rounds of miami, and I cannot since they are not televised, I might get a sense of which players are "grooved".
The Tennis Channel starts coverage this Saturday.
Hi Tchocky. I called the tennis channel office, in NYC, and a representative told me that only the ATP matches would be covered! I know you pointed out to me that the "TTC" logo appeared next to the WTA section of that particular page on the tennis channel website but when I went through my dvr recordings of last year, I only had the later rounds of the wta on espn2 so I called the tennis channel. Of course, sometimes company representatives are wrong so I guess there is a faint glimmer of hope that TTC will broadcast the wta but it seems unlikely now.

looks like the womens QF field will be set by the end of today, except for the Sharapova/Serena quarter.
