LOL!! I guess all the people who voted for Ivanovic to win here aren't too happy right now.

Davenport just outplayed her today. When Lindsay is on it'll be very hard for anyone to beat her, and today Davenport played very well. The one thing Lindsay could improve is her serve, cause she wasn't serving her best today.

true...her serves were sort of all over the place...but the good thing about Lindsay is her return is amazing..and that can balance out her serve being off as it was today...also for the problems Lindsay was having with her serve...Ana's were about 10 times worse...and lindsay's killer return came through

she is one hot italian girl. Serena looks like she wants to go and design some more clothing line.

I saw Flavia in the tournament at acapulco this year, she seems like a really nice girl, really down to earth, AND she is really beautiful indeed.

Idiot Linesman just called a Footfault on 2nd serve on a Break point to give serena the break. Flavia arguing in beautiful Italian to no avail. if that happened to serena, i would hate to hear what Richard would say....???

I thought Serena was going to say something like,, Sorry about the footfault call on break point or something like that but she saids It was fun.... Flavia was a very good sport and wished her good luck..

Why the heck would she say sorry about the footfault?

Did she call it? :-|

I am just saying, it would have been a good sportsmanship. it was a crummy way to get the break and pretty much win the match...after that.

Sportsmanship my ass, that foot fault had nothing to do with Serena. So she has to focus on the ball and Pennetta's foot positioning during her serves?

Mind you Flavia was up 3-0 in the 2nd set, so losing the match had nothing to do with that foot fault.

Chakvetadze is also out. She lost to Sabine Lisicki, currently #137. The bottom part of the draw is really open now.

Hasn't this been the case for the past 6 months on the WTA side?

But, I think Davenport, Jankovic or Dementieva to come out on the bottom half.

Me too :)

It turned out to be not so bad tournament for Serbian players, despite early exits by Ana and Novak.

Yeah,Jelena and Janko definitely made up for it.I really hope Janko breaks into top 20 soon,I think that talentwise he definitely belongs there.

Serena is looking like the favorite taking out the #1 and #3 seeds. Jankovic or Zvonareva won't have much of a chance.

Jelena wins 6-1 6-4. So finals will be Serena - Jelena.

But it looks like nobody cares :)

Don't worry man,I care.I watched most of the match.Good win for JJ,I wish her good luck in the final.I think Jelena has a chance, she has a decent record against Serena and also won their last meeting in AO this year.

Think that Venus attacked a bit too much, S&V?

I didn't see the match, but judging by the stats and her errors with a combination of how well Kuzzy played. She would have had to make a lot of the points *hit winners* , but she couldn't do that with that combination. Somebody had to win and it wasn't her,, on to the next tournament in Amelia Island.
