Which WTA player would do best vs. ATP

Some comments made so far on another thread have got me thinking.
Serena Williams is considered to be/have recently been the top WTA player due to her ability to overpower and outhit her competition, yet her movement etc. have been cited as weaknesses.
I understand that none of the WTA players would have a chance against any top 200 ATP player, but I believe that Serena would not be the best of the bunch anymore, either. If she were playing a male ATP player, she would no longer be able to outhit or overpower her opponent (who in many cases would have an average serve speed 10km/h or more faster than Serena's max speed), so she would simply lose the qualities which set her apart on the women's tour.
This leads me to my question: I doubt Serena would be the most successful WTA player against ATP players, so which women do you think would be able to play the men the closest, or at least better than Serena?
Personally, my guess would be one who relies more on skill and agility, such as Radwanska, but she would also be seriously overpowered by an ATP player.

I think this too for some reason. The tour today are just better ball bashers than Serena. The tour today are Serena 2.0. So, how would Serena hurt them? They do anything She does a bit better.

I too say that maybe more creative players would do better vs guys, mixing it in, confuse them.

Someone like Kim or Justine.

I don't know how she would fare but Simona Halep, like ARad, is more than just another ball basher. She is very athletic and can play very aggressively but, as a smaller player, she needs to play a bit smarter. She's quick and has excellent footwork. She is very consistent, often takes the ball early, knows how to change the rhythm and knows how to find/create openings.
