I am working on becoming a 4.0 player and possibly a 4.5 player within the next few years. I am currently using a head speed pro from 2018 with various Multifilaments. One of my coaches has suggested I am ready for more high performance strings such as poly to help produce more spin. Along with the new strings I'm going to try, I want to aquire a racquet that will help with hitting very heavy topspin.
I want to develop a style of play where my groundstrokes are very hard, heavy, topspin. As of now, I am hitting very good topspin on my one handed backhand, but my forehand is flat and my coach is working on my biomechanics to fix this.
Long story short, I want to switch to a more topspin monster racquet, as that is the style I want to play with, as I am looking to be 4.0-4.5 player known to hit high pace and heavy topspin. I have heard the quality of Yonex racquets are better than any other brand, and it's a brand that I want to give a try.
I'm aware topspin is mostly due to technique, which I am working on, but would like a racquet that can help produce high spin potential. Which Yonex racquets would you recommend to help produce high levels of topspin?
