white socks+black shoes?

depends on the shoe. if it has a somewhat good amoutn of white in it(a la vapor speeds) then it looks good.all black,like the shox i dont like.

weeeeeellllll, personally i dont like black tennis shoes. white looks better on the court. white with some black design is okay tho. However, off the court they'd be ok, if theyre not worn with shorts (so it doesnt matter what color your socks are).
i'm just glad that a guy realizes black socks with white shoes are so wrong!!! so wrong

Haha, i've done it all. one of my casual pairs of shoes is black, I usually favor black socks to go with it, just cause white ankle socks look a little ridiculous with them.

A little too style conscious don't you think, for some of you guys? I don't like black shoes on a tennis court, because I prefer the overall color to be the traditional white. I would like to say that I like the look of black socks on white shoes. Is it even anything at the level of a man wearing capris or that shirt that Hrbaty wore?

do not look good with white socks. if the white on the shoe is right up next to where the sock is (the first pic) they look fine, but if the shoe is all black, then they don't look good with white socks.

OK, I voted "NO", but let me clarify. I don't think this combination is quite as bad as white socks with white shoes, but I would not personally wear it because there are better combinations out there. Here's my ranking as of Early Summer 2007:

(1) Red Socks with Black Shoes
(2) Black Socks with White Shoes
(3) Black Socks with Black Shoes
(4) White Socks with Black Shoes
(5) White Socks with White Shoes

(listed in order of personal preference as of the time of this writing).

Wow, I dont even pay this much attention to my clothes when I am getting ready to go to school or even out with my friends. For tennis anything goes as long as it is comfortable.
