It's like at some point he started aura farming. Aura farming is when someone makes sure they look good in front of the camera, which in Roger's case, coincided with supreme shot execution.
It's not just the aesthetics of the strokes but also the mannerisms.
Examples: Gasquet's way of walking in between points and his unique overgrip, Rafa showing off football skills during practice with his backwards hat with the bull logo.

I think Fed matured and his grooming and fashion sense changed with age, on and off court. His on court outfits fit well, often with a collared shirt. His wife may have played a role. Whether he "farmed" it or not, I don't know. Either way, It was great marketing.

I dislike FAA's forehand but his aura is not THAT low. Maybe Medvedev? He was cool in 2021 but he's fallen off since.
I do agree with Alcaraz being no. 1. Inside and outside the court, his aura insanely high.

But he does seem to have big aura, his records make him 60% as scary and badass as Rafa at Roland Garros. But he's like that at every single tournament he plays, which might be unprecedented.

Yea that's the precisely what "farming" in aura farming stands for. It has a slightly negative connotation, as it suggests it's not natural and the person is somewhat desperate.
But in some cases, it means you're just being extra it because you can.
Like Fed, he'd make himself look extra good, but that's because he was so above the competition.
