I do not like either and hope that they lose the final anyway, preferably to Jannik. Both have ugly technique and have made arrogant remarks in the past, although I prefer Fritz to Foe in that sense. Who is the more likable person in your opinion and who will you be rooting for tomorrow night?

I blame a lot of Fritz's attitude on his blow-up doll GF but he seems the much more likable to me, Tiafoe's been a bit too full of himself recently and that has rubbed me the wrong way although I guess that's just the way he is and if it's what gets him hyped and playing well then fair enough. Tennis wise it's pretty even, I think both can play some great tennis so I'm fine with either making the final in that respect.

This feels weird. On one hand, I'm excited for two American men being in the semis. But on the other hand, I have a tough time getting excited about either player. I was more excited about Isner than I am about these guys. And that says a lot.

But I don't do ties. So by default, Fritz squeaks this one out as my choice.

So what? Tommy Paul's girlfriend is a cartoon.

Sportsmen and women aren't exactly reflective types. Their ability to solve complex logical problems shoots up when they have to win a game—is that what gamers do? But that doesn't mean they have the least introspective capacity, intellectual curiosity, creative powers, or computational ability.

Nonetheless, They are the most admired human beings on the planet by the rest of our species, which says a lot about them.

Fritz because I think he will make for a more competitive final especially if Sinner gets through even though I find Francis the more entertaining and likeable player.

Don't mind either way. I can imagine how long each has been dreaming about this moment, they've both earned it, I hope they both play well and whoever plays better gets it. I'll be happy for the winner.

Fritz absolutely owns him in the head-to-head, which are basically all on outdoor hard courts so there isn't too much of an excuse to make, but Tiafoe has an obvious extreme fondness for this particular court, so... Maybe that can level things out some?

Sinner is dull too. Lendl and Wilander were also dull

According to the testimony of Mats Wilander (who was there), a friend of his compatriot Mikael Pernfors, after Pernfors had taken a tremendous beating from the Czech, Mats was in the dressing room trying to console the 1986 RG finalist due to his logical anxiety.

Out of nowhere, Lendl appeared at the very spot where the two Swedes were standing (Ivan and Matso were on good terms) and said to Pernfors, laughing hysterically: 'I made you run like a dog,' turned around, and left immediately. Pernfors was on the verge of tears, and Matso had to act as a shrink.

What are you talking about? No player was ever bored in Lendl's company.

I don't care who wins. It's just great to see two American men in a USO semifinal, something we haven't seen in almost 2 decades. I have no problem with either of them but it doesn't take much to ruffle feathers around here it seems. Lol.

TLDR: Fritz.

I went through three phases with Tiafoe:

- used to be his fan, when he was a fun person on court.

- then he lost his fun side, allegedly due to the coach telling him to stop fooling around. He became a boring player.

- then he made the "losing to clowns" comment and now I find it hard to support him.

Frances. He actually comes across like he actually enjoys playing tennis and is friendly with most of the players. Dude brings it in whether he wins or loses. Is probably once of the few players that are actually cool off court.

Isner was a complete bore to watch.

Fritz, but I also wouldn't mind seeing Tiafoe win.

I don't really have a strong feeling on it one way or the other.

Both players deserve it.

Rooting for Tiafoe.

Fritz has less personality than a paper plate.

Both come up short in the final though.

I would have thought fritz would win this vote easily

He is much better player I think and can give anyone a problem. Dude has taken down big opponents like sinner down in slams. This tiafoe hype is maybe too much, he is instinct based limited player. Bad tactics.

Fritz.

When I see Tiafoe hitting his forehand, it makes me cringe.
Tiafoe's forehand doesn't bother me; actually, his shortened backswing can be good as it isn't as attackable as someone with a more aggressively topspin-oriented swing/grip. Fritz's backhand bothers me far more....for the love of god, please just follow through for once. It looks like he is swatting a fly with a frying pan.

Anyway, I think people get far too bothered by both players as far as their personalities go. I just hope it's a good match and not a shutout.

It can be a shutout for fritz. I don't know how much I should expect from tiafoe. Fritz is top 10 player for more than a year before dropping just outside.

What arrogant remarks did Fritz make? He seems quite humble.
