Hello everyone,

My name is Philip and I am honored to have the opportunity to start a thread here on the world-renowned Talk Tennis, where tennis fans have a great time.

The topic of this thread is players outside of the top 50. List your favorite players outside of the top 50 and we can discuss some of them and have quite a fun time.

Janko Tipsarevic

Simone Bolelli

Ernests Gulbis

Grigor Dimitrov

Steve Darcis

John Isner

Frank Dancevic

Vince Spadea

Evgeny Korolev

Well I wish the best and only the best for Donald Young.
Kei.
That's really all I care to talk about. The, whatever future tennis stars.
Had to add Grigor!! Nice 1BH!

He's got a long way to go (ranked 159)......hopefully he'll get a wildcard at the US Open.....

I like Kendrick in that group of players...usually entertaining to watch and not just today vs Murray

I'm actually really starting to like Dancevic, and not just because I'm Canadian. He seems like a very unrefined hybrid of Federer and Sampras. It's fun to watch his quickness, reflexes, and pure athleticism.

Ferrero, Monaco, Massu, Niemenen, Clement, Ljubicic. Those are all guys I would go and watch if I were at a tournament and they were playing on an outside court

Great posts guys! So many good players outside the Top 50 that it's really proof that the ATP field is really strong and deep.

Personally, I like Gulbis, Hewitt, Dancevic, Monaco, and recently have warmed up to Dimitrov.

Guys like Ljubo, Hewitt, Ferrero, and other former top-20 guys might not be ranked high but they all have it in them to play like a top 20 player on any given day.

Makes for exciting tennis!!!

Mayer - moving up nicely, proving he can play on all surfaces, nice 1h bh. Making a move on the top 50.

Fognini - Infuriorating in how hot/cold he can blow, but has a wonderfully lazy style and when he's on he's great to watch.

Nishikori - wish he'd get over his injuries D:

Dimitrov - obvious reasons

@Gorecki, I'm assuming Fred is Gil yeah? I hope he can get back up towards his high ranking again this year ^_^

ed: lol, spent too long replying and you had already ><
