Who breaks through the “BIG FOUR” at Wimbledon?

Since 2003, when Federer won his first, Wimbledon has been dominated by the Big Four. That is 15 straight years. And though eight of these are due to Roger, it still surprises me that there has not been one breakthrough year given how different grass is as a surface. Other slams do not share this streak. Even the French has had more variety (Nadal won his first in 2005), despite the 10 wins by Rafa. So my question of course is why this has been the case, and who would break this streak and when? Do we see more dominance by the Big Four on grass in the next few years or does someone else finally break through?

Luckily, Dimitrov has made some amends this year. Needs to reach a major final and he is officially the most accomplished of his generation.

Dimi is the one with the most momentum going into the new season. He, Zverev, Sock and Goffin are the only ones who actually either accomplished anything last year or looked as if they were about to.

That's true. Since 2003, only members of the current Big 4 have ever won it. Every other Slam has had alternative winners (Stan at the Aussie and the French, Delpo and Cilic at the USO).
Exactly. Why do you think this is? Seems grass would allow for more variety since it is such a short season ...

A lot of the time the second post in a thread is spot on. This one couldn't be more wrong.

Just re-watch the Halle final highlights where Federer absolutely destroyed him. Z has no clue how to move on grass.

So you think Fed can beat Zverev in a BO5 match? Hehe, face it, the kid would wear the old man down. Fed will be 37 and Zverev 21. Do the math.

Guess what? I don't need to do any math since a simpleton could tell you that 37 year old Fed wouldn't need 5 sets to beat Zverev at Wimbledon. Zverev would be done and dusted in 90 minutes.

I'm really hoping they meet at the AO so your endless posts about how great Zverev will recede (for possibly one day). :p

Funny you say that actually, that's the one area where Zverev really needs to improve :D
He lost to Raonic this year after being in a strong position, and he got worn down in 5 sets. He needs greater endurance

Dimitrov or Kyrgios. If not them, then maybe Shapovalov. If not Shapovalov it's a player so young nobody gives a **** about him yet.

The next non-big 4 champion in the men's singles at Wimbledon shall be Grigor 'Gigolo' Dimitrov.

Agreed upon by all objective tennis observers.
