federer has the best chance still i think
nadal is the second i think
third ? medvedev ? tsitsipas ? zverev ? thiem ?

djokovic 's grass game is so underrated i think
he has smart grass game and effactive serve
if the rally is on there 's high chance djokovic won the point

so who can ?

It's hard to see anything other than a final for Novak once again. He is incredibly strong on grass and with this serve he has he will be once again hard to beat.

I think it will be down to Fed/Nadal again, that's the most probable. For the other guys you mentioned they have to solve their grass games and the field first. None of them aren't even sure to enter the 2nd week cause they are so prone to getting beaten by anyone on grass. Maybe Medvedev is the best of the bunch.

Pretty much healthy Federer is the only hope. Embarrassing.

or a red lining servebot in an early round has a half chance too.

Thiem has the tools to do well on grass I think.

Kyrgios if they get drawn in same section.

Other that nobody.

Djoko is great on grass. Will be a strong favourite again. Goran has made his serve even better. Probably Federer and nadal have best chances. Or a servebot in early round. Fed at his best is the biggest threat as we seen last year but not certain what level fed will be at this year by then.

The next gen not as strong on grass as of yet anyway. If djoko can stay healthy and maintain his high level he can get a huge hold on Wimbledon like he has in Australia. Novak will aim to get 3 Wimbledon’s in a row which would be a new record for him.

Vertigo? When Djokovic is making mistakes his feet are slipping his stroke errors are exaggerated and it almost looks like he plays balanced on a fulcrum

In form Federer.
Yeah it is getting embarrassing. As a long time fed fan I have mixed feeling if Fed gets another major. Especially if he played in the finals vs another big three. I’m tired of seeing them all the time.

Not sure really, his type of game seems to suffer, the low bounce means he cant flatten out his shots quite so much.

But surely his strong serve, big FH and OHBH are good enough for it. His net game is solid too for a nextgen guy.

I think return is clearly the main issue for these guys. He has to stand way behind the baseline to get serves back in play. Can maybe do that vs Novak on slow HC or clay but on grass will be punished.

As much as fans want to believe in Federer, it's hard to ignore that he hasn't beaten Djokovic in a slam in the last 8 years, Wimbledon 2012 being the last time he did so I question how much a factor he really is, especially in this day and age with his best days clearly behind him. Even when he's in-form, he's got a hard time getting things done when it really matters so I'm rather skeptical about his odds at almost 39 years of age.

The only obstacle for Djokovic @Wimbledon will be himself/his health. I never thought I'd be saying this, but Djokovic has become such a great grass player with 5 Wimbledon titles already, it's hard to see anyone edging him when he's healthy. If he can keep it up a few years, he might tie Federer's Wimbledon record.

No one. Not even Federer.

Novak is destined to be the Wimb 2020 Champion. There is no player who could take 3 sets off him on grass.
He is far and away the best grass-court player of this time. He will continue to win Wimbledon for the next 3-5 years.

It will be as one sided in Wimb 2020, as it has been in this A.O. Djokovic will barely drop sets.

1. 2019 Fed v2.0
2. Nadal on dope
3. Thiem - he is really the only nextgen who does well in slams. Im curious how will that Zverev match tommorow go out.

Still the only player to beat him in a Wimbledon final.

It's be the biggest troll moment if Murray won Wimbledon beating Novak in a final if Novak wins the AO this year and continues to be the man to beat, everyone else has failed to beat him since 2018 but Murray strolls in and does another 3 setter like nothing lmao

Be one for the ages

Murray if healthy = Doubt (I think he's done, i'm a Murray fan)
Cilic if zoning = Doubt, Djokovic's mental focus beats Cilic's
Raonic is zoning = Doubt. He just can't beat Djokovic's ground game even if he serves out his mind
A big server such as Isner who is zoning = Viable. Limiting Djokovic in that way is a viable way to beat him but you need to be in form the entire match
Random nobody that is redlining = Doubt but who knows? It has happened.

Yeah Murray was brilliant in both the Wimbledon final and Olympics match. Murray was Novak’s toughest match up on grass.

Novak and Murray always got on well and had some great matches. The tour is missing him for sure. It’s a shame he probs will never return to the top of the tennis ladder again. Andy was a great player and is a great person.

Djoker is a heavy favourite. Fed is always a threat but I'm not sure he has another 2019 performance in him. Things start to get interesting if Djoker wins # 6 this year because he is starting to quietly creep up on Pete (7) and Fed (8)
