Sinner or Carlos? Competition will be all dead once Djokovic retires and These two will be winning all slams. IMo, Sinner is absolutely most talented guy I have ever seen post Djokovic and Carlos has no answer to his big game. If there's anyone who can win CYGS it's " the chicken Legs "

Carlos

Sinner has no clay game. His game is too focused on attacking, particularly hitting bombs with his forehand and backhand groundstrokes. On clay, with the slower surface, Sinner's natural gamestyle is lsrgely neutralized. I think we can all safely agree that Sinner will never win RG.

One man has done it in the last 54 years. The likelihood of any current player doing it is extremely unlikely. In fact, close to impossible. People starting such threads are either trolling or utterly delusional. Only on TTW is some guy who has never won a slam suddenly penciled in to win the CYGS. It's hilarious on one hand and utterly pathetic on the other.

Lol at so many people saying Sinner can win a calendar year slam, are yall serious? o_O :-D even the big 3 couldn't.
Idiotic trolling. When anyone responds, they get a jolt of attention which real life doesn't offer them. Why don't they start a thread promising that Gasquet will win the CYGS? It's no less absurd than claiming Sinner will do it and it would be a lot more entertaining.

You have had habit of ridiculing posters but look at your old posts where you were mocking people for thinking Fed's record will be broken and called it impossible ,When people quoted you back you didn't like it . Anyway, class can't be expected from you. Btw Thread is about who can win not who will win

Sinner can't win the clay and grass as Alcaraz is superior on the surface. Alcaraz can't win the hard season and Sinner/Med are superior on the surface.

No one can.

Ohh yeah, he is 22 now but he needs a few years to peak never lose a match again

We believe you, dking68 & Sampras-Buguera93
Thoughts on his career trajectory? I think he’s going to prove you madly wrong and win a slam next year and reverse the head to heads of the little three

I don't think it will happen ever again. Even when there was a player as dominant as Roger in 00s, someone else was winning the Roland Garros. Even when Novak won almost every tournament he played in 2015, he managed to lose against Wawrinka. And even when everyone expected from him to get it in 2021, it was too much pressure and he lost to Medvedev.

No player can be as dominant, at least in this generation. Maybe in 20 or so years.

The CYGS is a lot easier than people think

I could name like 30 seasons from various players that would’ve won the CYGS in 2021, 2022, and 2023

When the competition is full of mugs it’s not hard

I’m happy Cahill is bringing out his massive potential. His destruction of pushvedev was satisfying to watch.
A match that ended with 6-3 in 3rd set, a match which Medvedev could've won in straight sets if he was a little clutch on big points, is definitely not a destruction.

Very questionable win. He can but Sinner/Med are better on hard.

Carlos leads h2h against Med on HC and he won a HC slam while Sinner is yet to make his first HC slam final and has won more masters than Sinner. Don't know on what basis Sinner is better .

His HC season this year was poor. I don't think he can win atp finals either. Maybe he can turn it around at the AO. I doubt it. Sinner gives him a lot of trouble.

Ah yes, the hypothetical CYGS. It's easier than people think because a lot of players hypothetically won it.
