Who do you think are the top 10 best soccer(futbol) players in the ATP?

I remember Fed saying he was taking futbol and tennis pretty seriously and when the time came to choose, he choose the tennis. So I guess he was a pretty serious player up until 14 maybe.
 
You left out Hewitt, he has light quick speed, great endurance, and h is a leader. You also left out Safin who can probably kick so hard and far.
 
Nadal and Federer used to take soccer seriously. Nadal used to play for the National Junior Team, while Federer was even planning to play soccer professionally, so I'd say they are the best soccer players in the atp tour.
 
Nalbandian in murray out...feliciano looks like one while verdasco whines like wayne rooney

Oh and what was the criteria again?

Nadal was a very talented striker at his young age according to the spanish source. If he chose to play soccer, he'd probably end up being a striker.
 
Federer would have been brilliant goal-getter.
He doesn't have splint speed of others like Nadal, Hewitt or Blake
but he has great court sense and anticipation.
 
Fernando Vincente of Spain. Saw him play live once, and he was jugging the tennis ball with his feet better than some pros with a football. Amazing ball controll, and thats with a tennis ball I could only imagine a football. I could tell he plays football.
 
On one of Murphy Jensen's Tennis Channel specials before Wimbledon '06, he interviewed Kristof Vliegen. He mentioned in the interview that Kristof is widely regarded as the best soccer player on tour. He even challenged Vliegen to a quick one-on-one as Murph protected 2 cones spaced a few feet apart. Vliegen pretty much juke-and-jived him and scored with ease.

Nadal has also been shown on TTC playing beach soccer in Mallorca and he scored a sweet goal where he kicked the ball up in the air, spun 180 degrees, and kicked it past the goalie. He has skillz. BTW ... he was butt-picking while playing soccer as well.
