Who do YOU think will win Wimbledon 2015 and WHY?

Andy Murray because he has been steadily on the way up after a so-so last year. His form is good. And he is currently the most competent grass-courter. Many will point out that he has struggled with Nole, but grass will provide a very different opportunity than clay did, and he was close enough there.

Nadal is looking good on grass so far.

With the pressure off him and more time than usual to practice on grass, I can definately see him winning it.

Djokovic. He is serving very well this year, he is the best returner and Boris will give him the secret Wimbledon serum :)

I'm not so sure about win the title, but be an even tougher out then he was at the French?

Certainly.

I still think in a Semi or Final Nadal would fall. This would be a great result for him though, and would likely pave the way for a similar if not better result at the US Open and set him up nicely for 2016.

I cant believe how some people still thinks Fed is a bigger favorite than Djoko and Murray. Wishful thinking at its finest. The only chance of Fed is a joke draw like last year until the finals. Biggest favorite is Djokovic.

I agree that Djokovic and Murray are bigger favorites than Federer going into the event without the benefit of seeing the draw but for some reason I don't think Djokovic will defend his Wimbledon title. Only the greatest grass players ever to play the game like Federer, Sampras, Becker, Borg, etc. have defended Wimbledon. It is not an easy thing to do.

Another one slam season ccO?

Djokovic. Almost everyone would be tipping him if he won the French and there's no need to jump off him on the basis of one loss. His record at Wimbledon is excellent... winning 2 of the last 4 and a finalist in 3 of the last 4 years.

Novak is very proficient at winning one slam a season.

Murray and Djokovic are the only reasonable picks in my opinion. We have no idea how good Fed's form is going to be. It's hard to call Wawrinka as a favorite, I still consider him as a "wildcard" player.

He has huge chance in Wimbledon. He wont be tired after 3 weeks of rest. If not Wimbledon he will definitely win Us Open this year. I still cant believe how an earth he didnt win Us Open last year.
The sad thing is, I've got so used to him winning only one slam these last few years that anything more would leave me genuinely surprised. Seems strange to say that about the #1 player in the world but that's just the way I feel.

I'm going with Sir Rogi!

Federer for the win!

I think he will come out guns blazing this time as he has been really itching to win another Wimby and came real close to doing so last year in that amazing final against Novak.

Impossible to guess who will win Wimby without the draw, matchups are incredibly important on the grass. I'll pencil in the Djoker right now, improved net game, solid serve and a faster court should give him the advantage against the guy he just lost too.

It will be very difficult for anybody to beat Murray.
why do people consider murray as the favorite, what has he done on grass after 2013?

is he hitting as big, or moving as well as he was in 2013? not really.

this is another one for djokovic. Murray hasn't beaten him the last 8 tries. Even a victory over the more successful but old grass-courter Federer isn't locked in. Murray hasn't beaten either since 2013.

Murray will beat nadal with more certainty than the other two, if he's lucky enough to draw nadal in his quarter, and it will be a confidence boost, but honestly, not a big one. there are a couple handful of players that are harder to beat than nadal on grass now.

Yes he is, and hopefully that will be a minimum of 2 in 2015.
Wimbledon is definitely an open field, but Djoker and Murray should dominate, hopefully another Final is on the cards and they are not in the same half.

Novak will be the general pick, but you wonder if he has that killer instinct in him at this point after such a soul crushing loss - that could be a career killer. I would not bet against Wawrinka, but I wouldn't bet on him either. Murray will be tough. Federer will be giving it 110% since this is essentially his "last best shot".

If I had to pick 1 guy right now, it would be Novak.

Also, Jack Sock will make a deep run.

Nick Kyrgios because his serve is untouchable, he's clutch, and he believes he can beat anyone.
He isn't ready yet.

I'm going to say Andy Murray. Mainly because he seems to have found his old form from 2012-2013. Or something close to it.

Not sure about Jack Sock, is he ready yet to go deep in slams? However, I like the guy and the way he approaches the game so would like to see him do well for sure

I think Marin Cilic will be tough customer for anyone if brings his best form. For players like him, Wawr bookies odds means a little. He has already expressed his intentions of peaking on grass. How he is doing Stuttgart 250 so far? He took eventual champion Djokovic in fifth last year who happens to be his nightmare matchup. He just needs a little help from draw to avoid Djokovic this time. I don't think anyone other than Novak can stop him when he is zoning perfectly.
