Who has/had the better career? Chang or Roddick?

So Roddick so far has won only one slam, and I would say if he doesn't win another one this year, the chances are that he won't win another one. With that, Michael Chang also won one slam, both got to other slam finals, and both had to contend with a player who is/was considered the greatest. The only thing is Roddick has been to #1, however brief a period it was. Besides that though, would you say the guys had similar careers? Who's would you say is better? Who had tougher competition?

Personally I thought Chang's career was better, and was the better tennis player. Different game of course, Roddick is all power, but maybe Chang's game would have been the type that would fluster Roddick. From a tennis career though, I would say Chang really improved his game from the time he won the French Open, Roddick on the otherhand, I think his game has been degraded from his US Open win.

Hmm, Chang does have several youngest ever records, though Roddick has been a former #1, this is a toughy...

Roddick since he got to more finals than Chang and was the worlds number 1. Chang I liked much more though.

Chang may have had tougher competitors at the time with the likes of sampras, lendl, agassi, mcenroe, edberg, rafter, philopuississ (sp), courier, becker, etc...
Chang was youngest GS winner
Chang may have "started" the wave of american tennis domination.
Chang dominated inspite of his lack in size.

Roddick was Number 1, 2, 3,....
Roddick has 155 record mph serve
Roddick has doubles titles, chang doesnt
Roddick MAY stay in the top ten longer
Roddick has had Mandy Moore

Very similar success, but I will have to go with....
