Why stop there? 2004 USO Agassi was better than 2019 USODal and 2004 AO Agassi would PISTOL whip 2022 AODal along with 2021 AOovic.

I could probably argue for '04 HCgassi better than '20 Djokodal and '20 HC Slam Thiem as well.

2005 is more difficult bc he was literally a dead man walking and maybe Djokodal could outlast him.
2005 is legit since he played an actual ATG in his mid 20's. USO 2005 Agassi could beat AO 2022 Nadal the way he played against Fed.

lol wat?

I feel like everyone knew he'd be back on top eventually.

Rafa was more unexpected. I remember rooting for him in this forum to win the 2017 French Open because I thought he wouldn't get any more chances. Lololololololol
People have amnesia it seems. Djokovic had already bought a home in Helsinki by mid-2018. Him and Murray were usually brought up together.
Only the most hopeful Novak fans thought he would be back winning Slams.

AO: Nadal. He beat Peakvedev(Who had straight setted Djokovic) being severally declined and playing with a sore foot.

RG: GOATdal obviously. ROFLMAO

WC: Nadal. The organizers ripped him off by closing the roof in WC'18. They also cheated him by allotting Fedr the #2 seed when he could've had a kinder draw and smoked Djoko in the Finals. WC'20 was cancelled. Djoko could only vulture WC'21 because Nadal was injured.

USO: Nadal obviously. Beat GOATing JMDP and Anderson in USO'17. Djoko could only win the next one cuz Nadal was injured. Beat Peakvedev in USO'19. Could've won USO'20/21 also given his positive H2H against Djokovic and Medvedev.

That looks more like the PETE guy parody

How do ya know him . Aren't ya supposed to be a new poster who joined like three months ago?
Ever heard of read only? Was a HUGE fan of Djokovic since 2015 (the year when tennis began), but Nadal fans seemed to be a bit too aggressive for me to join. Now that the Slam race is over and Nadal is GOAT I can finally post without pressure.

I see. You were a 'LURKER'.

Djokovic, obviously. Won 8 slams, took the weeks at #1 record, the numbers of M100 titles record and was one win away from the CYGS with 27 consecutive slam matches won. It's tempting to say it's actually Nadal because he got the slam record but it would be the right answer only if we were talking about their overall career.

As the question is career not level, Federer is definitely out.

For Nadal: 1 Aussie Open win + 2 finals, 5 French Open wins, 2 Wimbledon SFs, 2 US Open wins, Olympic Gold (in doubles).

For Djokovic: 3 Aussie Open wins, 1 French Open win + 1 final, 3 Wimbledon wins, 1 US Open win.

For Nadal we have the fact that he got to 22, got to 14 FOs and the DCGS. For Djokovic we have the fact he got an entire CGS in his 30s (which is insane) and completed the double career golden masters.

tbh I have no idea lol. Probably Djokovic.

For what it’s worth I think Djokovic has had a level close to Federer’s overall in their 30s.

AO: 30s Djokovic >> 30s Federer
FO: 30s Djokovic >> 30s Federer
WB: 30s Federer >> 30s Djokovic
USO: 30s Federer >> 30s Djokovic

Hard court M1000s: 30s Federer >> 30s Djokovic
Clay court M1000s: 30s Djokovic >> 30s Federer

Whereas for Nadal:
Hard court: 30s Federer >>> 30s Nadal
Clay court: 30s Nadal >>>>> 30s Federer
Grass court: 30s Federer >>>>> 30s Nadal

it’s not that bad for Nadal though because he gains ground back for teen / early 20s level vs teen / early 20s level

Djokovic won a CGS after 30..again. Matched Agassi’s total too.
Which is why I’d put him above in achievements but Nadal’s is the more unexpected imo given his wear and tear.

I do acknowledge many questioned Djokovic before his incredible return against Rafa in WC18 but Djokovic to this day looks incredibly fit and mobile (yet to see him fully recover from covid however)
