Well winning the last 3 probably has something to do with it, along with 37 year old Federer, 32 year old Nadal but in basically a 42 year old body, and Thiem, Zverev, and those other mugs still being slamless.
That doesn't mean he can't lose, he's still human. I mean technically he can win everything but that's crazy to talk as if he absolutely can't get upset. He's not an almighty god.

Well I do think he can be beaten. I would not do a poll who has the best chance to beat him if I didnt. I would not even bother making such a poll for Nadal at RG from 2005-2010, what a waste of time.

I'm not talking about you. You just said he's the strong favorite and your opinion makes sense (although I'd just put him as a "temporary" favorite for now, let's see what happens in Rome).

I dont even know if I would say strong favorite or more slightly or shaky favorite over the next 2 Nadal and Thiem, but definitely the current favorite regardless of degrees. If it wasnt for his history of frustratation at RG I probably would say strong favorite.

As you said though Rome will be much more telling to the exact odds going into RG for a lot of players though.

I'd say Zverev, simply because these NextGens tend to have 1 good tournament from each season and Zverev is yet to win a big tourney on clay this year. However, Thiem, Nadal and Tsitsi all have legit to some chances to beat Djokovic now.

Why the disclaimer for Wawrinka given that he and Nadal are the only ones on the list who have actually beaten Djokovic at Roland Garros?

His recent form maybe?

Thiem also beat Djokovic at RG (with bagel no less). Only Zverev did not.
