Definitely Paradorn, I saw him hit an in-betweener on the run and crosscourt for a winner.

Paradorn has the best, but Coria has the smoothest looking one.

Definiately not Federer. He lost the AO semi to Safin with an attempted btl shot on match point.

I think it's time Roger practises the half volley between the leg lob when the other player is at net. That's one shot he hasn't mastered. ;)

On a serious note, I think I have seen Fabrice make this shot on a few occasions, so probably him, or Ferrero. But the one PDorn hit was just incredible.

    what about gonzalez?
in the gonzalez v/s youzhny wimbledon 2005, gonzo performed an astonishing under leg 125 mph shot that youzhny (who was making his approach to the net) couldn't volley...
...it was such a powerfull shot that youzhnys raquet almost broke apart

the commentators were astonished, it was simply spectacular

Err...125 mph between the legs shot. I highly doubt that. Do you have a video? Source?
I can barely serve 125, much less hit it between my legs..

yeah, that Ferrero shot was awesome, and as for the Gonzalez shot... well, it was pretty fast, but I even doubt his forehands are 125mph. that's just not physically possible.

Gabriella. That's why they called it the Sabatweeny for a long while there when people would hit it.

I thought Safin hit another great backhand down the line and Federer fell while trying to hit it, and Safin put it away?

My pick would be Ferrero and Sabatini. I have seen those two hitting it between the legs. Roddick does it well too.

I miss the old days - brought a tear to my eye to see how many people appreciated Paradorn.

One of my all time favs back before everything exclusively became about numbers and goat conversations.

Roddick’s is really stiff and awkward, IMO. He’s just not a natural mover:

Federer’s is best; it’s not only a thing of beauty but he can execute it when it matters:

Nick’s running tweener at 6:10 — not too shabby:

Still Fedr. 3 clean back facing tweener passes. 1 clean back facing baseline tweener winner, 1 clean front facing baseline winner and a bunch of good other ones. Doubt anyone else can match that output.

Oh come on that was ages ago! What about that USO 09 tweener against Djokovic or year later again Dabul? Or the front tweener from Doha?!

    Really unfair of you...
